After another three days at the hospital (after Ava talked to me) the doctor gave me the all clear to go, for some unknown reason my wound had healed faster than normal and there was only a scar left. The doctor said that the scar won’t heal, and that was fine by me I just wanted to get out. After Ava and I had our little chat and awkward silence, she told me she had to leave. I didn’t say anything, but watched her go. So you could imagine the joy I felt when the day came to leave, I was sitting on the bed tying up my last boot, when the nurse came in with a smile on her face. I finished tying my boot, and stoop up. I grabbed my bag from the bed with my stuff in it and faced the nurse.

“Feeling any better?” She asked.

I nodded.

“Okay well your all ready to go someone is waiting for you to pick you up,” The nurse paused. “For safety reasons and regulations you are required to be put into a wheel chair, until you get to the entrance”

I scowled at this but didn’t complain, the faster I got out of here the better, and arguing wouldn’t help. So being the good boy I am (note the sarcasm) I sat on the wheel chair while the nurse pushed me to the front entrance feeling like an idiot. Once we got there I got out of that wheel chair faster than you could say cheese and into the fresh air outside, I took a deep breath and smiled, the air here didn’t smell like chemicals. I looked around hoping to see Cook and my mood dropped at who I saw picking me up, no other than Mr Thompson’s body guards themself, I noticed three were standing by the car they didn’t have guns on them but you could see the muscles hiding underneath their shirts, and besides for all I know they could be hiding weapons. One guard came towards me.

“You Leo?” He asked.

“Yeah who else would it be?” I replied, rolling my eyes.

His eyes narrowed, “Mr Thompson warned us about you and you’re...attitude.”

He made it sound like he spat it out.

I clenched my teeth in anger by didn’t say anything; the guard smirked and led me to the car. I sat in the middle while two guards sat on both sides of me and the guard that talked to me was sitting in the passenger seat.

“Go,” He told the driver and we were off.

I knew why Mr Thompson wanted guards to take me to the Dooms House; I was a threat to him. Hunter’s words came back to me.

“But they are also targeting you now; you’ll be the first to go since they think you are a threat to them. They think you will be able to stop them from getting Ava.”

A shiver passed through me, I hoped it wouldn’t come to that. No one said anything as we drove to the home, the driver parked the car to the entrance of the building.

“Get out,” The guard snarled.

“What do you think I’m doing?” I snapped getting out of the car.

He pushed me towards the door I stumbled but managed to get my footing, I shot the guard a glare.

“Well,” He snapped. “Hurry up.”

“I would have, but your ugly face is stopping me,” I smirked.

His face went red from rage and he walked towards me putting his face close to mine.

“Man you’ve got bad breath,” I said.

The guards face changed to purple.

“Your face reminds me of a lava lamp,” I taunted.

He didn’t say anything, his face changing from purple to red. I moved a step back away from the guy and started once again towards the door. I opened it and all of a sudden a wave of fear hit me, I leaned against the door for support. Looks like Mr Thompson was busy, with my shield now very tight I stepped into the hallway and looked around, no one was in the hall.
