I start my day by waking up in a bad mood. I'm still really mad at the guys for yesterday, so I decide to stay in bed for awhile. I wonder if I stay in bed, if the boys will leave me alone for the rest of the day. That thought is killed thirty minutes later when I hear a knock at the door.

"Are you up yet," Alex says coming in with Kevin in tow.

"What do you want," I say in an irritated voice.

"We're being forced by dad to face your wrath," he says, earning a smack from Kevin. "I'm kidding. We came to tell you there is no school for the rest of the week due to serious building issues. We also wanted to tell you not to come down stairs."

"Why," I ask, suddenly more interested in what they have to say.

"Down stairs has turned into a war zone," Alex responded flatly. I groan and fall back into my pillows. Alex decides that his job is done and leaves me alone with Kevin.

"There is worse news," he says quietly, causing me to sit up and raise my eyebrows at him. "Dad is going out of town for work tonight and he is taking Alex, Steve, and James with him."

"Great, that's just what we need. What else is going to go wrong, Cameron showing up pretending he wants to hang out," I say with as much sarcasm as possible.

Just then Simon pops his head in the door. He tells us that he is leaving early to beat traffic. So, Kevin drags me down stair to say goodbye. Simon also gives us the news that Ethan is in charge and that we are not to burn the house down.

Three hours after they leave, me and the remaining boys go on a walk in the park. The guys all take turns carrying me piggy back until I start to squirm. When we go past the first set of bathrooms, all four of the guys need to go. This leaves me standing outside, waiting for them to finish their business. All of a sudden someone yanks my arm, pulling me to the right.

I look to find a very pissed off Cameron looking down on me. If looks could kill I would be dead for sure. I try to scream, but before I could he smashes his lips against mine and pulls away after a few seconds. He grabs my waist about to pull me into the bushes when he all of a sudden falls to the ground. I look to see who saved me and found the stranger from before. He looks even better than last time. He is wearing dog tags, old blue jeans with holes in the knees, and work boots. What kills me is that he has no shirt on.

"Thanks," I breath.

"No problem. So, is he always trying to do something to you or is this just a every once in awhile think," he asks gesturing to a knocked out Cameron.

'He is always gonna try to do something to me. I just never thought he would resort to rape," I say quietly looking at the ground, feeling ashamed.

"Well then, I guess that I'm going to be there to save you every time," he says putting his hand under my chin and lifting so that I'm looking him in the eye. "The names Thomas, THomas Dueweke. You can call me Tom."

"I'm Melody, Melody Clamon. Everyone calls me Mel though," I say, feeling a little better.

"Whats going on here. We have Mel talking to some kid with a two face dick on the ground passed out," a voice says from behind us. We turn around to find Ethan, Kevin, Mark, and Jon standing there with amused looks on their faces. I introduce the guys to Tom and explain what happened. Ethan takes another glance at Cameron before looking back at Tom.

"Well, anyone that saves Melody from that creep is O.K in my book. Why don't you come with us back to the house so you can learn a little more about the kid and her deal with that scumbag," he suggests. The other guys agree and so we start our commute home.
