Melody's P.O.V (Two years later)
"Melody, I'm going to say it just one more time. Get you scrawny little ass out of bed," Tom says for the tenth time.
"Do I have to," I ask rolling over.
"Yes, now get up before I call the guys."
I let out a little groan, but get up anyway. I give him a hug before going to the shower. Waiting for the water to heat up, Tom wraps his arms around me from behind.
"Mind if I join you," he asks.
"I don't know, are you going to try and knock me up again?"
"Melody, you know that we can't prevent it anymore."
After we became engaged, Tom and I agreed not to use any protection. So far, we have been lucky. I think Tom wants to be a dad because our sexal activitymhas increased. He has caught me by surprise eight times in the last two weeks.
"Yeah, you're right. But do you really need to catch me off guard all the time?"
Sorry Mel, I can't help it. I kind of want a little baby boy or girl."
"How about after graduation we start trying. Simon did take us and let us get married in Vegas."
"Sounds like a great idea. Can we still have a little fun in the shower?"
"Yeah, hopefully you can knock me up."
Maybe four hours later the graduation ceremony is over and we are all just hanging out in our caps and gowns. Tom, of course, is next to me with his arm around my waist.
"So, how's the married life," Tom's friend Dean asks.
"I like it, what about you Mel," Tom asks looking at me.
"It's the best decision I've ever made."
"Mel, the best decision you've ever made was this morning."
"What was your decision," Zoey asks.
"Tom, why don't you tell them," I suggest.
"Alright, I will. We agreed this morning after graduation the we would try to get Melody pregnant."
"Dude are you crazy? Y'all ain't ready for a baby. You and Mel have only been married for six months," Dean yells causing me to cower behind Tom. " Sorry Mel, didn't mean to scare you."
"It's our decision and it will happen. Mel, come here," Tom says directing me around him. I bury my face in his chest and he wraps his arms around me.
"Melody, are you alright," Zoey asks when I let out a sigh and a gagging noise. Before I answer, I have to dodge around Tom and run eight feet away before I begin to vomit. Tom holds my hair and rubs my back until I'm finished.
"Mel, are you alright now," he asks after I haven't thrown up in about ten minutes. I attempt to say something, but more comes up. " I'll take that as a no."
I continue to start and stop vomiting until an hour has past. Tom gently leans me back against him. Dean hands me some mouth wash and Zoey hands me a water. Why they carry mouthwash with them is beyond me, but I'm scared to ask questions because I tend to get answers that I really don't want.
"Mel, are you going to throw up anymore," Dean asks.
"No, I think I'm good."
"Why didn't you tell us your weren't feeling well. I could've taken you to the bathroom," Zoey comments.
"I felt fine until it started to come up. In fact, I feel just fine now."
"Let's say it was nothing and move on," Tom suggests. We all go to a different area so that I don't get embarrassed. After we walk away, someone slips and falls face first in the vomit. Later in the truck, Tom seems distant.
