I wake up with my arms wrapped around Melody. I wasn't around when she was on her cycle before, so I have no idea how she acts. My mother is always super emotional on hers and my sister turns into Satan. I shift slightly, earning a growl and a whimper from Melody. With that, I know that she is going to very moody, but I'm not leaving her unless she asks me to.

"Good morning beautiful," I say when I see her beautiful blue eyes. She growls and pulls the blanket over her head. "Would you like me to got pick you up some donuts?"

I know that I peaked her interest because she slides the blanket so the at from her nose up is showing. "Will you get me the ones with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles," she asks quietly.

"I'll get you any donut that you want."

I get dressed, grab my keys, give Mel a kiss goodbye, then go out to my truck. I put the key in the ignition and my phone vibrates. I check it to find a text from my girl saying that she misses me. I text her that I will be back soon and pull out of the drive way. As I'm backing up, I see Mel in the window upstairs and I wave goodbye.

I walk through the door of the little shop and I'm surprised to see how quiet it is. I walk to the counter and I'm greeted by a redhead who obviously had too much coffee.

"Hey handsome, what can I get you," she asks with a flirtatious tone.

"Two dozen donuts with chocolate frosting and rainbow sprinkles please."

"Vanilla or chocolate donuts?"

"Vanilla please."

"I hope you're not going to eat all of those on your own handsome."

"Nope, half of them are for me and half of them are for my girlfriend," I say proudly. Her face suddenly gets as red as her hair before she disappears in the back. After paying for the donuts and grabbing them off the counter, I head back to the truck to get back to my girl.

Pulling back into the driveway, I see Melody waiting on the front porch. I grab the donuts and climb out of the truck. I barely have the door closed when Mel latches herself onto my waist. Ethan comes out of the house, prys Melody off me, and holds her in place by putting his hands on either side of her waist.

"Sorry Tom, she is in a really clingy mood right now. I guess she wants to cling to you for a while," he says with Mel trying to squirm out of his grip.

"It's fine, you can let go of her. I think that I can handle my own girlfriend," I say confidently. He releases her and she goes straight back to clinging to my waist. I kiss her at the top of her head, lift her up and go inside. I walk towards the staircase and Mel starts to squirm. "Melody, what's wrong?"

"I don't want to go upstairs," she whines.

"What do you want to do then?"

"Can we eat the donuts in the living room or kitchen?"

"Let's go to the living room then."

In the living room, we sit down on the couch. I hand Mel her donuts and we eat in silence for about five minutes before she says something.

"Thanks for getting the donuts Tommy," she says after finishing her third donut.

"Your welcome honey. I'll get you food anytime," I respond. She crawls onto my lap and lays her head on my chest. I put my arm around her and give her a peck on the cheek.

"I spoke to simon while you were gone. He said he wants to have a day where you and him are hanging out since we are a couple now. He was thinking about hunting," she says after a few minutes.

"Alright, I'm in. When's the trip," I ask.

"The day after he gets back, he is going to grab you, gear up and go hunting. He wants me to stay here with Kevin, Ethan, James, and Alex while you and the other guys are gone."

"Alright, I'm down with that. Are you alright Melody, you look exhausted."

"I'm tired," she whines. I start to rock her and soon she gets a little heavier. I clean up out donut mess and put it all in the box that on the coffee. I lay her down on the couch and cover her up with the blanket on the back of the couch. She curls into a ball and rolls so she is facing the back of the couch.

"Is she going to be out for a while," someone asks from the doorway. I turn to find Jon just getting home.

"Yeah, I'm going to consider it a donut coma."

"She's going to be asleep for while. Do you want to come help me with the truck?"

"Why is it making funny noises again?"

"Yeah, it kinda sound like you ran over a bag of walnuts and cats."

"Have Ethan look at it. He's the one that fixed mine. I promised myself that I would stay with Melody unless she says other wise."

"Alright, but if you wake her up, you're going to walk away with quite a few bruises.

"That's fine, I can take whatever Melody can throw at me."

"That's what Cameron said two months ago before Melody hit him with a chair for sitting on her bed. The kid ran out screaming, that caused Melody to chase him around the neighborhood for an hour with a baseball bat," Jon explains with a chuckle. I couldn't help but laugh myself.

"Well Cameron is also a weak little three year old girl," I comment, earning a chuckle from Mark. He joined us thirty seconds ago.

"If there is one thing I've learned from living with Melody is that she is funny when she is pissed off," Mark interjects. Me and Jon immediately agree. "By the way, does anyone want to come with me to bail Kat out of Jail? She got arrested for beating the shit out of Cameron."

"Sorry Mark, your on your own. I'm going to help Jon with his truck."

I leave my phone on the coffee table and head to the garage with Mark. When I return, Mel is going through my phone. I sit next to her and put my head on her shoulder.

"Melody, why are you going through my phone?"

"Because I can. By the way, who is Sara?"

"My ex girlfriend that won't leave me alone. She keeps saying that she loves and wants me back. If you lose the attitude you can text her if you want. I'm not going to stop you from telling her off."

"I'm not going to lose the attitude, so you can forget about that. I will, however, tell her off," Mel said before she started to type: Hello, this is Tom's new girlfriend. Stop texting him or I will hunt you down and beat you with a dead fish. Thanks bye.

"Did that make you feel all warm and fuzzy inside," I ask after as she presses send. She nods then pecks my cheek. My phone vibrates and a simple "ok" from sara flashes onto the screen. "Thank you for threatening her. She wouldn't have left me alone without you."

"Your welcome babe."

We share a gentle kiss, then lay back on the bed. She grabs my hand and starts to play with it. I drag her across the bed so that our heads are on the pillows. I turn on "Larry the Cable Guy Health Inspector" and we both pass out in the middle of the movie.
