It's friday night and, as he promised, Cam is taking me on a date. The girls took me shopping yesterday while all the guys went on the boat. Tom was with them because he broke up with his girl broke up with him, so he needed to get his mind off of things. All the girls except Kat tried to get me to put on a short, strapless, sparkly, hot pink dress. Kat's choice was a black strapless with a sweetheart neckline that is knee length. The dress has a little sparkle to it and it's very silky.

Cameron spent the night, so his suit was crammed in his duffle bag all night. The girls about killed him when they watched him pull it out of the bag. Right now, the girls are ironing the suit, the guys are screwing around with their trucks or hanging with their girl friends, and me and Cam are just laying around.

"Hey Mel, are you excited about tonight?"

"Yes I am, what about you Cam? Are you excited?"

"I'm ecstatic. I just can't wait to see what you're wearing tonight."

For the past two hours, Me and Cam have just been hanging out in the living room. He says he's bored, so Cameron tries to start a make out session. I think he is just horny and wants to go farther than sticking his tongue down my throat. He lays me backwards and starts to hover over me. He tries to take it further, but someone clears their throat from the doorway.

"Dude, you are not fucking Melody. Especially not on our living room couch," Ethan states in a pissed tone. Why is he so mad, he does this all the damn time.

"Ethan are you alright," I ask with concern.

"No Melody, I'm not alright. I don't like or trust Cameron and neither should you. Remember everything he has done to you. Remember he cheated on you and broke your heart. He can't be trusted," he yells. After he finishes, tears well up in my eyes and start to spill over. Cameron wraps his arms around me and starts to rock. "Melody, I'm so sorry. Please don't cry.

"Come on Mel, let's go upstairs so you can calm down a bit," Cam says rubbing my back.

Cameron's P.O.V

I carry Melody to her room and sit down with her on the bed. I'm beyond pissed off right now. Ethan had no right to yell at Melody like that. I get that all these guys are really overprotective over her, but they have no fucking right to yell. Ethan knew she would cry, but he yelled anyway. If he wasn't stronger and bigger than me, I would put that asswhole in his place.

"Melody please don't cry. Don't listen to anything he says. If we want to go out on a date, he has no right to tell us not to. There is nothing he can do to stop us."

"But what if he won't let us leave," she sobs. She has been really easy to upset lately. I personally blame Cassidy for being a back stabber and taking advantage of Melody's trust. She wasn't like this before she broke her heart and threw away her trust.

"Don't worry about it. I will take care of everything."

She crawls onto my lap and lays her head on my shoulder. I try to give her a hug, but she pushes me backward so that we are laying down. She curls into my side and grabs my hand. I wish I could figure out her fascination with playing with my hand, but I got nothing.

"Why was Ethan yelling," Simon questions as he walks into the room. He looks at Melody's face and knows exactly why he was yelling.

"He doesn't want me to take Melody on a date tonight. Ethan doesn't trust me with her heart because of what I've done to her in the past," I say. I'm not going to keep things from or lie to Simon because he scares me. He is an ex-marine, so I'm not going to mess with him.

"Melody, are you alright Honey," he asks while sitting on the bed next to me and Melody. She scoots away from him and buries her face in my side. "Honey I already yelled at him for yelling. Please talk to me."
