Melody's P.O.V
For the past few months, Cassidy has been trying to forgive her for being a two faced bitch, but it's not happening. Tom hasn't been around a lot lately, so I have been hanging out with Cameron and Kevin a lot. Cam taught me how to block people on my phone, so I can't get anymore calls or texts from Cassidy. Most of the school hates her for what she did. We are currently on Spring Break, so we are just chillin' at home and watching movies.
"Psst, Melody. Kevin has been calling you for the last five minute," Cam says from beside me. I look to the doorway to see Kev leaning against the frame with his arms crossed over his chest. "Whatever he wants seems important."
Me and Kevin have been slowly drifting apart lately. He has had a lot to say about this girl that lives across the street and I do a lot of talking about Cameron. This talk between me and Kevin has been a long time coming. We go upstairs and into his room. After we are sitting face to face on his bed, we get straight to the point.
"Mel, we need to talk about our relationship," he says starting off the conversation. "Things aren't working out like I want-,"
"It's fine Kevin, I knew this was coming soon and I'm fine with it," I say cutting him off. He gets a relieved look on his face.
"So you're not upset, that's great. Would it upset you if I go ask the girl across the street out as soon as this conversation is over?"
"I don't care as long as you don't mind me giving Cam another chance."
"I don't mind, but if he hurts you like he did last time he is a dead man," he warns taking on that overprotective older brother act.
"I know, even Simon will beat his ass. So are we good?"
"Ya, let's go get on with our lives," is all he says before helping me up and walking down the stairs. Kevin pushes me into the living room and leaves to go ask his crush on a date.
"How was your talk with Kevin," Cameron asked when I sat down next to him and shifted my body so I was leaning on him.
"We broke up," I say.
"Do you want to talk about it or are you just looking for a new guy now?"
"I've got my eye on one guy already. Me and Kevin just don't like each other anymore and so we decided to go our separate ways."
"Who's this guy you have your eye on. Does he look half as good as me," he says with a wink. He already knows who I have my eye on, so now he is just playing with me. "I'm just kidding. When do you want me to pick you up on friday?"
"How does six thirty sound?'
"Sounds good to me babe. Do you want to go on a formal or casual date," he asks pulling me onto his lap.
"I don't care either way. If we do formal, I'm going to ask the guys if I can borrow their girlfriends to go shopping. You know I'm terrible with shopping."
"Alright, how about we do formal clothing and I will figure out a nice romantic setting."
"I'm in, I'll give the guys a call now," I say before dialing a few numbers. After spending an hour on the phone, I finally finish and all the girls agreed to help me. Just as I get off the phone, Kevin walks in with his new girlfriend.
"Melody, this is crystal. Can we join you and Cameron," he asks.
"Sure, have a seat," I say before turning on another movie.
Four hours later, everyone is in the living room with their dates except for Mark. They notice me start to twitch, so we all agree to go on a walk in the park to get some fresh air. On the way, we make a detour so Mark can pick someone up. We stop at a cute little house with roses growing out front. Mark races up the steps and knocks on the front door. After a moment of waiting, a girl about my size and Mark's age opens the door. He greets her with a kiss and spins her in a circle.
"Guys this is Katryn. Honey, these are my brothers Alex, Ethan, Kevin, James, Steve, and Jon. Next to them are all their girlfriends that can introduce themselves later. Also present is my Dad Simon and my godsister Melody. Holding onto Mel's hand is her boyfriend Cameron," he say pointing to each of us.
She looks terrified till she sees me. This girl is a brunette that has glasses and she seems shy. I'm sure she is just over welmed over how many of us there are. After she grabs her keys, we start our commute to the park. Me and Cam hang in the back with Mark and Katryn.
"Hey Mark, let's go catch up to the front," Cam says elbowing Mark.
"Let's do it," was all he says before they bolt down the path to catch up with everyone else. Great, now I'm stuck walking with someone I don't know.
"I'm going to kill them for this," I say causing her to laugh. All of a sudden she isn't so bad. We walk and talk for two hours before we catch up with the guys. It's amazing how quickly we became friends.
"Mel, while you guys were still catching up, I got a call from Cassidy. Do you want to call her back," James asks.
"No, I never want to hear or see that two faced bitch again for the rest of my life. If she ever tries to call again, please send her straight to voicemail and block her number," I yell wishing she would leave me alone and get a clue. She needs to realize that I never want to see her ever again.
Just as I think this she comes walking up. "Melody, please forgive me. I don't like not having you as my best friend," she says in a begging tone.
"Stand back Kat. She is going to explode," Cameron says pulling her back while he steps backwards with everyone else.
"GET IT THROUGH THAT FUCKING THICK SKULL OF YOURS!!!! I want nothing to do with you anymore. You went behind my back and went after a guy you knew I liked. You didn't just go after him, you dated and slept with him. You're a two faced bitch that needs to face reality and realize that I'm not ever going to forgive you for what you've done. I'm not stupid enough to fall for that same trick again. So do me a favor and STAY OUT OF MY LIFE. NEVER BOTHER ME OR ANYONE HERE EVER AGAIN," I scream. After I'm done, tears stream down her face as she runs away.
"Melody, do you feel better now," Ethan asks cautiously, gently putting a hand on my shoulder.
"Ya, I feel much better now," I say with a sigh.
"Mel, I have never heard anything like that come out of your mouth, ever," Cameron says wrapping his arms around me.
"I've been holding that in for the past two months. It felt good to get it all out. Cam, can you carry me home please?"
"Sure sweetheart, hop on," he says turning around and crouching down so I can get on his back. He carries me home and for the first time in a long time, I'm able to enjoy myself.
After dinner, we all decide it's too late for everyone to be out walking so everyone goes to a room with their date. Once me and Cameron are in mine, he takes off his shirt and hands it to me.
"Heres your pajamas for the night babe."
"Thanks Cam," I say through a yawn.
"Sounds like you're going to sleep good tonight. Hurry up and change so we both can go to sleep."
After changing, I climb into bed with him and he pulls me towards him. We wrap our arms around each other and wraps our legs together under the blanket.
"I love you Melody," he whispers.
"I love you too Cameron," I whisper back, earning a kiss.
There is no way things can get anymore perfect.

Surprise update. I got bored and decided to write and post this chapter. Hope you're not to mad. Anyway, the Character named Katryn is inspired by my best friend, so this chapter is dedicated to KatHarris9 because she has supported my story since I started writing it. Thanks for reading and I will try to post chapter 12 A.S.A.P :-)
