What Would I Do Without You? (A Rob Gronkowski Fanfic)

Airport Pickup

We had drove to the airport together and gotten through security. That's when my mom had to part ways with my brother and I. She had to go to a special room to get to her flight to see my dad. After we said our goodbyes, Adam and I headed off to the gate where our plane would be taking off soon. We boarded the plane and took our seats. Ready to get back to the Gronkowski household.

After the short 2 and a half hour flight, we exited the plane and went down to the area where we could be picked up. I had no idea who would be picking us up, only that it would be one of the 6 Gronkowski's.

We waited for about 10 minutes before I got a call from Rob saying that he was in line with the car and would be there soon. I was secretly hoping that it would be Rob who was going to pick us up. But at the same time I kinda wished it wasn't. I've always had a little thing for Rob. Even though he's 4 years older. I haven't talked to Rob in a long time and I hoped I wouldn't get nervous and embarrass myself in front of him.

After another 5 minutes, I could finally see Rob's SUV coming into view. He saw us and parked right in front. He got out from the drivers seat and quickly ran to open the back. Adam and I walked over to him with the four bags that we had for our stay. Adam threw both of his in the back of the car but as soon as I began to pick up mine, Rob stopped me.

"Let me get those for you." he said with that boyish smile of his.

"Oh. Thank you." I replied trying to blush.

After all the bags had been thrown into the back we got back into the car. Adam hopped in the back, while I hopped in the front seat with Rob. He turned and looked at me.

"You look beautiful today Paisley. As always."

I tried so hard not to blush. I don't think it worked because Rob smirked before he turned away and started to drive. I was praying that this wasn't going to be awkward. It was going to be about a 30 minute drive from the airport back to his house. But with this traffic. I feel like it may be closer to an hour.
