I woke up at 3:00 in the morning because my flight left at 6:00. I got up and got dressed before cleaning up everything in the bathroom and taking another look around the room to see if I forgot anything.

After double and triple checking my room, I got a hotel cart and loaded all my bags onto it. I made my way downstairs where Anita was already waiting for me with a smile on her face.

"Are you ready to go?" She asked.

"Yes. I need to get out of this place. But I am gonna miss it." I said glancing back at the hotel.

We piled everything into the van and drove to the airport. Anita made sure that all my bags were checked and ready to go.

"Well. I guess this goodbye." I said to Anita.

"You have been such an amazing help and guest." She said giving me a hug.

"I'm so happy I got to come and experience this. And with you." I said.

With that, she turned and walked in the other direction. She walked about 20 feet then turned around and smiled and gave me a wave. I waved back before heading of to security.

Once I had made it through all of the security, I had an hour left before my flight left. So I looked around the airport. There were so many beautiful, tradition African decorations.

45 minutes had passed and I decided I should probably find my gate. Once again though, I stopped and got myself some Starbucks.

When I arrived at my gate they weren't quite boarding yet so I found an empty seat and sat down. I decided to sent Rob a quick text because he was most likely sleeping.

To: Robert<3

I know you are sleeping, but I just wanted to let you know that my flight is leaving in about 10 minutes. So I'll see you seen. Love you! Xoxo

By the time I had finished sending the text, people were boarding the plane. I got on and again sat in my first class seat with nobody beside me. Once we were comfortably in the air I put my headphones in and prepared for the flight back to Chicago.

16 hours later we had finally landed in Chicago. It was 4:00 in the morning here in Chicago. I wasn't too tired, but sleeping on a plane just isn't the same as in a bed.

I went to where you grab your backs and rounded up all of mine and put them on a cart. I decided just to sit down and wait for Rob to text me. After about 15 minutes I still hadn't gotten a text from Rob.

I put my phone down on he bench beside me and sighed. I started to look around and that's when I saw him.

The 6'6" man had just walked through the sliding doors about 100 feet away. I stood up and that's when he noticed me.

We stood there and looked at each other for a moment or two before he put his arms out signaling for me to come to him.

I started running towards him and he started walking towards me. When we finally met, I jumped into his arms. We just stood there for the longest time hugging each other. Eventually I pulled my head from his neck and gave him a long, passionate kiss on the lips. I could tell that if I didn't pull back, things would have gotten heated pretty soon.

"Let's get you home." He said setting me down.

We walked over to where my stuff was sitting, gathered all of it, and tossed it into the car.

We were able to leave the airport pretty quickly because it was only 4 in the morning. There weren't many people here.

The ride home was incredible. I held Rob's hand the whole time and we talked about everything that had gone on in the three months that I was gone. Rob talked about Jack and how he was growing so fast and how the teams doing. I talked about all I did for the three months. Building houses, teaching and learning from kids, and helping vaccinate children.

The drive seemed to go by pretty fast. We reached my house at a little after 6. I was so excited to see everyone. But Rob said that his brothers and parents weren't here. They had to stay in New York and Massachusetts for a while. But that we could go out and see them soon.

That was cool with me. So right now I was focusing on seeing my two brothers. I had talked to Adam, but I wanted to see how Jack has been growing. A lot can happen to a baby in three months.
