Back In Illinois

I've been back home in Illinois for a 3 weeks now. Rob and I had sex three more times before I left. And it was amazing each and every time. We kept it a secret though. None of his brothers knew. Our parents didn't know, and my brother didn't know. We wanted to keep it that way until we could actually start a relationship without being in two different states. We still text, call, and sometimes Skype everyday though.

My mom just arrived home yesterday from being with my dad. They finally got to see each other for a month. I'm really worried about my mom though. She was up all night throwing up and I think she may have picked up the flu while she was with my dad. Normally the flu isn't really that big of a deal, but when you have cancer and you get the flu, it another story. That's why I'm taking her to the hospital to get it checked out after I drop Adam off at school. I'm not taking any chances with my mom.

When we arrived at the hospital my moms normal nurse, Tracy, greets us and takes us back into a room. Tracy says that she wants to run some test to check things out. So I stay in my moms room while they run the test.

About two hours later Tracy comes back into the room, but she doesn't have my mother with her. I stood up confused and worried as to what they found on the test that they were running.

"Paisley, can you come with me?" Tracy asked.

"What is going on? Is it bad? Did she get really sick again?" I questioned.

"Paisley, I will explain everything if you just come with me." Tracy said again.

Nervously I walked out the door of the room and followed Tracy into her office. This is the office where she tells me all the test results and what is going on with my mom.

"So. What were the results of the test?" I asked quickly.

"We had her run all of her normal test that she takes to check up on her Breast Caner and nothing came out differently. She is the same from when she left." Tracy explained.

"Then why is she throwing up all the time?" I asked somewhat angrily.

"Well. We weren't sure at first. So we had her run some more test and nothing was abnormal." Tracy said. "But. We did have her take one last test that did come out positive. It was one that none of us were really expecting to come out positive."

"What test?" I asked extremely confused. I had no idea what was going on. Tracy wasn't telling me, and she didn't seem overly worried.

"Paisley. Your mother is..."
