What Would I Do Without You? (A Rob Gronkowski Fanfic)

Game Night

She was gone. My mother was gone. Rob and I left the hospital early in the morning. I slept all day until about 7:00 at night when I finally woke up. Rob was still beside me, but he was awake. I rolled over to face him.

"Why did you stay with me all day? You could have gone out and did something." I said weakly.

"I'm not going to leave you after what happened last night." He said.

"Thank you." I said.

Yes, I'm extremely depressed that my mother died. But at the same time, as much as I would hate to admit it, I think everyone saw it coming. We almost were preparing for her death. None of us wanted to believe that she was going to go, but deep down, we all knew it.

"Are you hungry?" Rob asked suddenly which brought me out of deep thought.

"Not really..." I said.

"Alright. Well how about we watch a movie?" Rob suggest.

I knew he was trying to get my mind off of everything. And I appreciated that very much.

"Sounds good. Just let me go check on Jackson really quick." I said rolling out of bed.

"Okay. But he's already been fed and changed." Rob said walking out the door behind me.

As Rob made his way down to our little theater area, I walked over to Jackson's room to check on him. I walked in and very slowly walked over to his crib, making sure not to make any noise.

He was sleeping so peacefully in his crib. So I creeped out and went to find Rob. He was downstairs with all of his brothers and Adam.

"We are all gonna watch a movie together, if that's cool with you Paisley." said Dan.

"Yeah, that's cool. But where is your dad and Amy?" I asked confused as to why they weren't here.

"They are um...arranging things for your mom." Dan said.

I just nodded my head and went over to Rob who was sitting in a chair and not on the couch.

"Where am I gonna sit?" I asked Rob.

"Right here." Rob said as he patted his lap.

I giggled a little and plopped down onto Rob. He wrapped his arms around me as I snuggled into his chest.

"What movie are we watching?" I asked.

"The Goonies." answered Gordie.

I smiled and snuggles closer to Rob who kissed my forehead and tightened his grip around me.

Once the movie was over it was almost 10:00 at night. Since all of us woke up really late, we weren't tired.

"Is anyone else hungry?" I asked while rubbing my stomach and hearing it growl.

"I say we order Pizza." Adam said.

I looked around the room and everyone was nodding.

"Okay pizza it is." I said while getting up of of Rob.

I walked into the kitchen to order the pizza. We decided to get four large 16" pizzas from Monicals. One sausage, one pepperoni, one cheese, and one supreme. Something for everyone. And I made sure to order French dressing too, so we can dip our pizza in it.

Once I had everything ordered, I walked back into where all the boys were.

"How long will it be?" They all asked at once.

"About 45 minutes." I said while laughing.

They all groaned in response.

"How about we do something to pass the time?" I suggested.

After some thinking, someone suggested the newlywed game. But with sibling. We all laughed at first by agreed.

Obviously, Adam and I were together. Then the Gronkowski's split it by age. Glenn and Rob were together and Chris and Dan were. Gordie volunteered to be the host.

He asked us all questions while we wrote down our answers. Then he collected them. Then we started the game.

"Glenn. What is Rob's dream car?" Gordie asked.

"What!? Um...wait! I know this. It's not a car. It's a LIMO BUS!" Glenn said.

Everyone started laughing uncontrollably.

"Sorry dude, but it's a hummer." Rob said still laughing.

"Okay. Next question." Gordie said laughing. "Dan. What does Chris do before a game?"

"Well. I was gonna say goes to the bathroom, but I'm gonna have to go with drinks a protein shake." Dan said.

"Bro! No! I go to the bathroom!" Chris yelled.

Before we knew it, that pizza was here. When the doorbell rang Glenn jumped up, grabbed the cash I had laying out, and ran to the door. Glenn payed the pizza man and took the pizzas into the kitchen. It was almost 11:00 at night now and we were all scarfing down pizza for our dinner.

Once we were all done, we decided to play another game. This time, it was Cards Against Humanity. We all sat around in a circle on the floor and passed out all the cards. I said that I would be the judge first. So I picks up a card and read it.

"What's a girls best friend?" I said while letting out a little laugh. Oh boy. This was going to be interesting I thought while I waited for each of the boys to put down a card. Once they had all out one card down, I shuffled then and picked them up.

"What's a girls best friend? AIDS."

"What's a girls best friend? Harry Potter erotica."

"What's a girls best friend? The biggest, blackest dick."

"What's a girls best friend? Morgan Freeman's voice."

"What's a girls best friend? Pulling out."

"What's a girls best friend? Queefing."

I was basically dying of laughter. I didn't know what one to choose. They were all pretty good and hilarious. So I chose the biggest blackest dick. And of course, it was Glenn's.

We played for about another hour. Then we counted up who had the most cards. And again. It was Glenn. Damn he was good at games. First hide and seek, now this.

We all picked up the game and headed off to bed. I was happy that we did this. Is made me get my mind off of everything that was happening.
