*You play the piano and Dean hears you. He then requests for you to teach him*

"Look around and entertain yourself." Dean grins as he sets my half empty duffel bag down on my new bed.

I'm moving in with the Winchesters, after a hunt gone bad. The demons found out where I lived, and well, it's not safe to stay there anymore. So here come my saviours, Sam and Dean.

The room I'm supposed to be staying in is nothing out of the ordinary. A single bed next to a desk with a chair. There's a chest of drawers next to the door and some collection of old looking swords hammered into the wall all around the room. The room is pretty basic. I like it.

"Thanks Dean-o." I smile back at him and watch as he leaves the room without shutting the door. Normally, I would have flipped because I hate when people don't close doors, but right now I'm curious as to what this bunker holds.

I leave the grey room and walk down the lit hallway, passing closed doors. It takes everything in me not to go in and explore, but for now I'll stick with rooms that aren't locked.

I stop in front of a large room, filled with just a few items. There's an old looking sofa in the corner next to a large bookshelf filled with only a few books. There's also a desk and chair similar to the one I have. But it's the very large wooden piano which catches my attention. It's so out of place, extravagant.

My curiosity gets to the better of me this time and I walk towards the piano, lifting the lid and pressing the C key. It does surprise me that the piano isn't out of tune and sounds rather perfect. Well, Dean did say to entertain myself, so...

I grab the chair and position it in front of the piano and sit down, stretching my fingers a little. How long has it been since I last played? Must be a few years now.

I recall a piece I learned in high school and set my fingers down, slowly pressing the keys. The start is a little rusty and it does take me a few tries to get it right, but once I get into it, I can't help the smile that comes to my face. I always loved playing River Flows In You. Although it was tough learning it. I remember my teacher keeping me after school and pushing me to my limits.

I get so lost in the playing that I almost jump out of my skin when I feel Dean sit next to me on a chair he must have brought over. My hand goes straight to my chest as I realise it's just him and not some monster.

"You caught me by surprise you jerk" I laugh a little, sighing in relief. He looks at me in awe, as if I were God himself.

"Were you playing that?" He asks, glancing from me to the piano. His eyebrows are raised. Well duh. It's not like I brought speakers over and I'm playing it on there...

"Yeah. Sort of got lost in it..." I trail off, blushing a little. I never was a fan of people complimenting me playing, mainly because I have no idea how to react.

"You're really good. I had no idea. Play again?" He asks, looking like a kid who wants someone to read him a bed time story.

Well, I suppose it won't hurt. Plus, practice makes perfect. I smile a little and start again, this time without any mistakes.

As I come to the end, I find myself feeling a surge of happiness course through me. I remember that playing the piano always seemed to brighten my day back when things were normal. I guess much hasn't changed. Well, aside from the fact that I'm a hunter now and I kill monsters for a living.

"C-can you teach me?" Dean asks, still looking like he saw me decapitate Lucifer himself. Well, teaching him the start won't hurt.

"Alright, get me a pen so I can label the keys. It'll make things easier." I chuckle at his eager face. He immediately gets up and jogs out of the room.

~Time skip 4 hours~

"Holy shit you've got it!" I shout in happiness as Dean nails half of the composition with a few minor mistakes. It's still a little choppy, but he pretty much has got it figured out. He just needs to add the pedal now.

He looks at me, face full of accomplishment and happiness. "I did it because I've got the best teacher" he says with a wide grin. I haven't seen him this happy in a while.

"Well, I wouldn't exactly say I'm the best 'teacher', but-" I start to deny his previous statement, but he just puts an arm around my shoulder and shakes his head.

"Don't try to play it down like you're not the one who just taught me how to play this within a short space of time, (Y/N)." Dean says, his smile never leaving his gorgeous face.

Me and Dean have been friends for about eight years now. I even met his father one time. Let's just say that it wasn't the most pleasurable meeting. He ended up using me as bait without the knowledge of the boys and then proceeded to try and explain why he did it. He's not exactly on my friends list.

"If you call four hours a short period of time..." I trail off, smiling at him. He just keeps looking at me, not once breaking eye contact.

An unknown feeling spreads throughout me as I acknowledge the feeling of his arm around me and the closeness of his face. I won't deny the fact that I've felt attracted to him. I just never dwelled on it too much. But now I don't think I'll be able to hide it for much longer since I'll be living with him.

"Dean, I-" I start to excuse myself, but he cuts me off by a quick kiss. The way his soft lips feel on mine can't really be compared to anything I've ever felt before. It makes me happy. Beyond happy. Ecstatic.

I find feeling disappointed when he pulls back. I just can't seem to help it. I look up at him with wide eyes, a small smile appearing on my face as I see the grin on his face.

"I've wanted to do that since that time in Milwaukee when you got your foot stuck in the door" he chuckles a little, looking at me from beneath his lashes. And oh boy, is it a look I'll remember for a long time to come.
