Mira's p.o.v
The day went along perfect. An accident became a miracle. After everyone loosened up, Jake, Mike, and Jessica left together, and my mates left separately. We all had fun and joked around, but it was pretty late, so we departed at 9:00PM. The thought of Mike swarms my mind every now and then, but that's not really good. "Silly girl.." a thought cooed, as if to confirm it. Sighing, I ignored the third buzz of my phone.
A minute after, my phone lit up, and I glanced at the screen. Jake's number flashed and I sighed, answering the call. "Hiya love, why aren't you answering Mike's texts?" he asked. I blinked and sat up quickly, hiding a gasp. "Those were Mike's?" I squeaked. I forgot we all swapped numbers earlier before leaving. "'Course. Poor lad. Check Lady Boy's messages, babe." I rolled my eyes, ignoring the ending and ended the call.
Answering his messages, I sighed and hopped up, grabbing a few clothes and deciding to take a quick shower. The water was pretty nice, so that helped me take my mind off things. The water massaged any worries away and I relaxed more. After climbing out, the cold air hit harder than expected. Tossing my dirty clothes in the hamper, I dove onto the bed, not bothering to get dressed. The comfort of my bed and the towel was enough. Glancing at my phone, it buzzed.
I didn't really want to seem desperate, so after ten seconds, I gripped the phone close, scanning the message. I don't think it's a good idea to be so in love with a guy I met in a day. But god, his accent.. The message was enough to make me melt, though there was nothing all too worthy of that. I decided to respond with something casual. It wasn't the best idea to fall for him. He already had Ailsa. He talked about her all evening.
Sighing, I told him I had to go, though there was really nothing for me to do. Tossing my phone to the far end of the bed, I hopped downstairs. Being in just a towel was okay, since I'd be home alone for a week. I made two quick sandwiches and sat in the living room, scanning my laptop for anything interesting. Of course, the only thing I wanted to do was cling to Mike. But, oh well. Annabelle decided it'd be fun to set me up for a blind date. Guess I'll see how that goes.
He told us what happened before I crashed into him and his lover. They were arguing over what happened. It's pretty cringe-worthy anyway. Let's see.. "Mike said she was mad because he caught her flirting and she didn't want to own up to it, so she said that it was a friend and she was giving him advice on how to get girls. Poor Mikey fell for her excuse.." I thought, rolling an idea over in my mind. Maybe she was better for him, in some ways. She could give him what I don't have the guts to.
