Mira's p.o.v

I was pretty shocked to find Mike at the door. He looked so broken. I know he's been avoiding me, but I couldn't say no. He looked like a lost puppy. So instead, I let him in, got him dried off and into a warm shower, let him eat and we talked. He had a good cry and called it gay afterwards. Everything is gay to these Brits.

We cuddled and had a heart to heart talk, which shocked me. He just seemed so needy and adorable. It'd be selfish of me to tell him that I love him. Maybe he needed a break from relationships? I wouldn't press it. I'd rather give him freedom. I've been too clingy to him two weeks ago. He deserved some free time.

Sitting up, I decided to check on him. The clock showed 2:40AM and the sky was still dark. It'd be pretty embarrassing to find him awake and I looked awful. Quietly creeping towards my mirror, I brushed my hair, thinking of a few things to go over. Putting my hair in a ponytail, I tiptoed over to the room he was using.

I don't think he would enjoy sharing a room with me, not that I'd mind but.. Peeking into the room, he laid on the floor, scrolling through his phone. He seemed so peaceful. I decided to leave him be and turned to exit. "Oh, wait. Hey, Mira?" he called, causing me to pause and turn to face him. "Yeah?" I asked, glancing at the spot on the floor he pat.

I sat next to him, glancing around the room as he sat up. I would enjoy listening to the quiet with him any day. I glanced at him, growing curious of why he was so quiet. "Do you miss her?" I had to ask. He glanced at me, shrugging. I could tell he still had a hint of pain swarming in his eyes, but he was healing. I was glad to help.

"So, why are you still up?" he asked, toying with a strand of my hair. I brushed his hand away, hiding my face to cover a blush. "I was curious to see if you were asleep or awake.." I mumbled, wincing as my voice cracked. He threw his head back and laughed, causing me to gasp. "You're such a nonce!" he chuckled, and I was glad to have him cheer up. Glancing up at him, I tilted my head. "What's a bellend?"
