Mira's p.o.v
Jake and I finally made it back to the flat, which was relieving. As soon as he set me down, I ran into the kitchen like a kid, screaming for Mike. He seemed a bit scared, since he jumped a bit. But I didn't want him to stay frozen forever, so I pounced and clung. He gave the laugh that I love so much and held me close. I would have driven things farther, but Jake cleared his throat. Mike released my hands and gave me the choice of sitting up.
Hesitantly, I did, but clung before getting off. I could feel Jake's eyes on my back as I retreated to Mike's room. First thing I did was remove my shirt. Second, I climbed into his blankets and got comfy. "Why are you being weird?" I mumbled, sniffing his blankets. Of course, they smelled like him. They had the smell that I love. While laying in bed, I stared up at the ceiling, thinking things over.
Lately, I'd been glaring at any girl that would even glance at him. It's really unfair, though. I'd get to hug a guy, and he'd have to keep the pain in, but I get to glare at a girl who doesn't even get to say 'hi'? "Tch, that's so unfair. What a bad girlfriend," I thought. Sighing, I rolled out of bed, tugging on my shirt and going out of his room. Hugging Mike from behind, I glanced over at Jake as he ate.
A crumpet and a cup of tea sat in front of him. Pecking Mike's confused cheek, I hopped over to Jake, sitting in front of him. He glanced up at me as I cleared my throat. "About that bite?" I squeaked. He nodded and passed me the crumpet. Taking a bite, I glanced up at Mike, choking a bit. He and Jake both watched me chew. Handing the crumpet back, I stopped chewing, letting it sit uncomfortably on my tongue.
I nodded a thanks and hopped to Mike's room to finish my bite. "God, it's embarrassing to have people watch me chew. Those two, no less." Staring up at the ceiling, I felt myself sink into sleep. A small knocking sounded on the door, causing me to stir awake. Mike was approaching the bed, tossing off his shirt and pants. Nuzzling against him as he slipped into the bed, I let him hold me as I fell asleep.
