Mira's p.o.v
I couldn't stop apologizing. I mean, I know he barged in unannounced, so yeah, I was embarrassed. But more sorry than anything. Mikey tugged my hand, catching me before I could apologize again. "Why are you apologizing to the wanker? Just tell him to sod off and kip," he whispered. I gave a small smile and a light kiss. I loved the tosser and hoped he loved me.
Jake whinged and stood, exiting the living room. "What a bugger.." Mike mumbled. I shrugged and kissed his cheek, hopping up. "What's up, love?" he hummed, taking my hands. I shook my head, stretching and sitting back in his lap. I was quite up to it, but he didn't know. So I'd just chat up with him. Of course, when I was about to speak, we got another guest.
Jake and Jess came out of their room, hand in hand. They hopped on the couch next to ours and he tugged her into his lap. I mean, I couldn't start flirting in front of them, and I couldn't tell them to shoo. Mike tilted my chin a bit, making my eyes meet his. I squeezed my eyes shut tightly, already growing embarrassed before he even kissed me.
His lips were gentle against mine, but when are they not? Lightly licking his lips, Jake chuckled, causing me to sigh and pull away. What a mood killer. Mikey threw his head back and muttered a low, "Bloody hell.." I'd suggest going to his room, but I didn't want the wanker to think we were trying to shag. Not that I'd mind, I'd actually..
Mike lightly moved underneath me, standing and yawning. "Want anything before I head to the kitchen?" he asked, and I nodded, asking for a sandwich. Leaning back, I turned to the telly, ignoring as Jake practically fondled her strawberry creams. Glancing away, I fidgeted with my hands, laughing as Mike noticed the two.
"They're most definitely shagging," I mouthed, nodding towards the pair. He made a face and walked over, handing me my sandwich and taking my hand. Things got pretty awkward, for us anyway, so he took my hand and we walked to the park. Sitting on one of the swings, I took a bite of my sandwich, smiling while Mike occupied the other.
Taking his hand, I glanced at him, setting my sandwich in my lap. "Wanna swing in sync?" I asked, making him laugh. Counting to three, we began swinging our legs, and I gripped his hand tighter. I bit into the sandwich, closing my eyes and enjoying the wind. There was an urgent tug on my hand, causing me to snap open my eyes. Digging my heals into the ground, I managed to avoid crashing into Annabelle, who hopped happily in front of my swing.
Sighing, I ran a finger through my hair, thanking Mike for the warning. He nodded as Anni droned on about something I wish she didn't. I'm a girl and all, but no one cares to talk about shopping all the time. She looked a bit rough today, but I wouldn't openly say that. It was like, the more Mikey and I hung out, the more we were interrupted. It's fine, I had a gift for us anyway.
