Jake's p.o.v

Last night, Mira seemed pretty relaxed. After hearing a few bumps and such, I decided to clear off for a bit, take a walk. Pulling out my earphones, I headed to the park, finding Annabelle waiting. She spotted me before I even entered all the way. She hopped over to me, and I let her do all the talking. Soon, I got boring, too soon for my liking. I gave a nod before heading back home. Mira was asleep clinging to Mike as he caressed her hair.

That was hours ago. Now, she's wondering the house in one of his sweaters. She seems a bit lonely. She'd woken to a rose in place of Mike. Of course, there was a note, but she didn't really mind it much. She just clutched the rose and curled up in his blankets. It took a bit to pry her from his room, but I guess it's fine. Maybe I should take her outside for some fresh air. All she has to do is put on something other than knickers and a sweater.

She dragged herself to his room to change, seeing as her clothes always happen to wound up in his room. I had to tell her, "Mike wants you to get dressed so that I can take you to the park. I could show you a message for proof." Though the whole thing was a lie, she fell for it. "I trust your word, tell him 'Hi' for me," she said, her words an inaudible whisper. It felt bad to lie, but whatever it took to get her to do something.

"Mike says he wants you to eat." "Mike wants you to get ready for seeing Annabelle." I had to place Mike's name in front of everything. She fell for it all, of course, which is bad. I was using her longing for Mike against her. I'd give her a break for hours, but she would pester me about Mike. She wouldn't sleep or relax until she was able to call Mike. It was short, but it was enough. I only heard what was on our side.

"Mikey?" she mumbled, pausing. Her eyes lit up a bit and she clutched the phone tighter. "Mhm! I know, and I love you too!" she said, smiling. There was a long pause, then, "Yeah, no rush. See you then." She hung up the phone and went to Mike's room, cuddling against his pillows. I found it sad and made her a bit of grub. I didn't know what else to do but hold her close and pet her back. Jess called, which resulting in me having to go and leave Mira alone in the flat. She'll be fine.
