Mike's p.o.v
Jake called down for us, so I grabbed Mira's hand, leading her to him. Raising a brow, he pointed to the couch next to him. Mira laced our fingers, tugging us over to the couch. Of course, she waited for me to sit down before taking a seat in my lap, kissing me lightly. Returning it, Jake spoke up. "So, I'm curious as to how you met this bird, Mike." Mira continued brushing her lips against mine as I mumbled.
"Didn't we tell you? About the phone?" He nodded, folding his hands behind his neck. "Well, yeah, but how did she end up colliding into you? Like, what was the rush?" he asked, directing it to Mira. She paused, stopping her lips a few inches away from mine. "Mmh? Oh, he was talking to Ailsa about something and I accidentally ran into him because I wasn't paying attention. The rush? I was late with meeting my mates," she sighed.
He nodded, taking it in, while my hand snaked around her waist. Tugging her closer with my free hand, I placed a few small kisses on her neck. She leans against me, closing her eyes. Taking her into my arms, I carry her over to our room, nodding at Jake. "She's a bit tired. Maybe some other time, yeah?" I asked, not really making it sound like a question, but more of a demand.
Setting her down on the bed, I heard her groan, reaching out toward me. Of course, it got a smile out of me as I took off my shirt, sliding in next to her and holding her close. Brushing my fingers through a few tangles in her hair, we talked about things. What was stressing her, her friends, the like. Hugging her close, I let my own eyes shut, drifting to sleep with her, the lulling of her breathing tugging me deeper.

Mira's small body shook against mine, causing me to wake. Rubbing my eyes and glancing down, she seemed to be having a night terror. Sighing softly, I gave her lips a small peck, soothingly rubbing her back. "It's fine love, calm down. I'm here, okay?" I mumbled, nuzzling my head against hers. Taking deep breaths, she began to relax. Taking her hand in my, I laced our fingers, holding our hands close to my chest. Wrapping an arm around her waist protectively, I fell back asleep, the sound of Jake and Jess arguing becoming background noise.
