CHAPTER 9

I stayed seated beside Marcus as I watch Felix and Kim approach our table. Felix glanced at me before looking at his brother. I looked at Kim who greeted me before seating.

"You're an hour late," nakangising sabi ni Marcus.

"Not my fault," dipensa agad ni Felix na ngumisi kay Kim.

"Excuse me! Hindi ko rin kasalanan!" tila ba nahihiyang sagot ni Kim. I didn't know if it's right to listen or what pero anong magagawa ko? We're all in the same table! Thank goodness dumating si Theo with our drinks kaya agad kong ininom ang akin.

"You took an hour bathing, then another hour preparing. How is that not your fault?" pilyong asar ni Felix kay Kimbery na naging dahilan ng pamumula nito ng pisngi. They were together kahit bago pa sila dumating dito? He's with Kim all day? With that, I choked! Who gets choked with a glass of alcohol?!

"Hey, slow down, hot stuff," Theo laughed at me as he tapped my back lightly.

"I'm fine, don't worry," I said afterwards.

"You don't seem fine," singit ni Felix. That annoyed me so I glared at him.

"I am fine," I insisted. "Why don't we dance?" I suggested before looking at Theo.

He shrugged. "I don't feel like dancing. Marcus?" aniya. Napakagat ako ng labi bago ko tignan si Marcus.

He took a drink first before getting up and gesturing me to come with him. This is it! Minsan talaga may pakinabang din si Theo. I smirked and took his hand. It was my first time holding his hand and was damn warm and soft. Ang sarap hawakan! Why can't it be just like this forever? Bakit kailangan pang may Theo, Felix at Kimberly sa eksena?

As expected, Marcus took me to the dance floor. It wasn't a sweet or slow dance, I know, but whatever, I don't care as long as I get a chance to dance with him. This is my chance. He danced gracefully as I "innocently" swayed my hips against him. He held my waist and pressed my back against him.

"Are you still with the wrong guy?" he whispered and I damn swear it sent me shivers. God! I love the way his breath kissed my skin.

"No," I murmured.

"Yea?" he asked. I closed my eyes and nodded. I pressed my neck against his. "Open your eyes and look straight in front of you," he said and I obliged.

I saw Felix and Kimberly dancing sexier than us. They were too close to each other. Hell, they are rubbing their bodies against each other! I saw how Felix wanted to kiss Kimberly's exposed neck. When he glanced at me, as if he felt my stare, he smirked and freaking kissed Kim's neck. Why did he need to look at me first? Nang aasar ba siya?! Well, I can do it better. I can do it better than Kimberly!

I turned around and started pushing my body against Marcus but even before things started getting hotter, Theo grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the dance floor, which irritated me more.

"Fck! Ano ba, Theo?! I was already starting to get him!" reklamo ko habang hinihila niya pa rin ako palabas.

"I know, brat! But you have to be reminded that you have your limitations, too! You think Marcus liked the idea of you seducing him in front of these people knowing that you are with me?" sermon nito Hindi ako nakasagot dahil alam kong may punto ito. "See? Now you get my point!" frustrated nitong sabi.

"But he started it! Of course I had to grab the chance!" sagot ko.

"Yea? He started it because he wants to tease you with Felix! Not because he's giving you a chance to get him," aniya.

"Fck you! That is not true. You are supposed to help me, Theo, not piss me off!" iritado kong sagot.

"I am helping you! Kaya nga hinila kita doon. It may not seem like it but my brother is a very primitive man. I know he plays games, he's an ass like us but I tell you, he has high standards in women. He wants someone clean, someone unlike you," his words stung me. Inirapan ko ito. "I'll take you home," aniya.

"No. I do not want to go home!" protesta ko. "Tuloy ang plano. Just let me start everything again," I said.

Nang pumasok kami pabalik sa loob, sinabi ko kay Theo na iinom muna ako. So I stayed at the bar and ordered some drinks alone. Where are my two friends when I need them the most? I checked my phone and found no text or calls from them. I was tempted to dial their numbers and shout at them for not being here but I was so busy trying to relax myself.

Hindi ko na namalayan kung ilan ang nainom ko but I was sure that it was a lot because I kind of lost control with my actions. I remembered being carried by Theo papunta sa table namin then the next thing I know, I was already in the car with Theo. Feeling ko nakatulog ako dahil medyo nawala kalasingan ko. Not that I already do not feel like I'm floating or something pero mas nakokontrol ko na sarili ko ngayon compared kanina.

"Fck," mura ko.

"Wow, ganyan ka talaga kapag bagong gising?" ani Theo habang tinatawanan ako.

"Shut up," mahinang sabi ko. "I lost my fcking chance, didn't I?"

He laughed at me. "You need to sober up. You have to get your acting skills on point," he said.

"Huh?" I asked, confused.

"You'll stay at our house, remember?"

Nagising ako bigla sa sinabi niya.

"So, here's the plan.." he started and I got my ears on him.
