Chapter 24

It felt odd going out with Felix with our hands entwined. All eyes are always on us. I mean I loved feeling his skin close to mine, it feels perfect every time, it's just that I'm not used to having PDA with anyone.

The first few days were struggles. Hindi kasi kami sanay. But he's trying, kaya nga sinusubukan ko rin. It's evident that he likes going exclusive with me, and that melts me pero mahirap burahin sa isip ko ang posibleng sinasabi ng iba, all because there's a stigma. Kung ako lang sana ang dating Maura, then I would careless as long as I'm getting what I want. Kaso hindi. I'm almost completely different now.

I am in love and still falling.

Maybe that's what love does. It changes you unintentionally. It will make you move boundaries, even your own boundaries just to make the relationship work.

"Baby," he called just after I answered my phone.

"Hi," I grinned.

"Are you done?" tanong nito.

Dahil sa tanong nito ay napatingin akonsa relo ko. It's almost five.

"Almost," sagot ko. "But you can go now, para sakto pagkatapos ko."

"I'll be on my way, baby," sagot nito.

"And let's just grab Chinese take outs?" suhestiyon ko.

"You don't want to eat outside tonight?"

"I feel tired and lazy... pero kung gusto mo, we can eat naman sa labas," I compromised.

"I'm good with take outs if that's what you like," banayad nitong sabi sa akin.

"Alright. I'll see you in thirty?"

"Yea, aalis na rin ako," aniya.

"Okay. Drive safely," I said before ending the call.

"Ikaw ha! Sino iyon?" biglang tanong ni Coleen.

Napatingin naman ako sa kanya. "You'll find out later kung sasabay ka sa akin bababa," ngisi kong sagot na agad naman niyang ikinatuwa.

Nagsimula na akong mag-ayos ng mga gamit ko. Inihilera ko na rin ang mga trabahong bukas ko na lang tatapusin.

I think Coleen's pretty eager to know my guy dahil talagang sumabay siya sa akin sa pagbaba.

"But I thought kayo ni Sir Castro!" she exclaimed. I hushed her but it was too late dahil nakatingin na ang lahat sa amin. I mentally strangled Coleen. How can she be so loud and stupid?! Everyone in the elevator heard her, that's for sure!

"Can you not?!" medyo iritado kong sabi.

"But I really thought..." she murmured na agad ko rin namang sinuway.

"Shh! No, okay? Hindi kami," may diin kong sabi.

Ugh! Ito talaga ang naging resulta ng article ng Sheena na iyon! Since that stupid article went viral, nag-iba ang tingin ng mga tao sa akin dito sa opisina, not that I give a damn, it just doesn't feel right because I am dating Felix. I wonder if Felix had her fired though. I have to ask him pala about that.
