Chapter 12

Three weeks – ganyan na lang katagal ang kailangan ko bago ako makalaya sa school na 'to. Fours years ago, I was so excited about being here dahil andito si Marcus but unfortunately, there was a major turn of events lately and all I could wish is to graduate ASAP. The shcool is much bigger than the other universities but I feel suffocated with Felix around, especially when he's with Kimberly.

"Hey, babe, what's up?" napatigil ako sa pagbasa ko sa notes ko para sa exam mamaya nang tumabi sa akin si Theo.

"Babe your face," iritado kong sagot.

"Whoa! Ang sungit ng girlfriend ko!" aniya.

"Cut the crap, Theo. The show is off," I said.

"Suko ka na?" nakangisi niyang tanong na pinili kong hindi sagutin. "Or finally natanggap mo nang hindi si Marcus 'yung gusto mo? Should we change it to Project Fel-"

"Hanggang dyan ka lang!" pagputol ko sa sasabihin nito. "I don't wanna hear it because I do not have plans on making him mine in the first place!"

"Why, huh? What's the difference between Marcus and Felix, Maura? They are both LeFevres. Hell, I am a LeFevre, too! Bakit hindi na lang ako? Hindi na kita papahirapan, sa 'yo na ako agad," he started flirting with me again.

I rolled my eyes at him. "You are not my type, Theo. And Marcus and Felix are both different worlds. Marcus is the one I should be with. Felix isn't. As simple as that,"

"Who's supposed to be with him then? Kimberly?" tanong nito sa akin.

"I don't know and I don't care," irap kong sagot sabay sara ng librong hawak ko. "Besides, my feelings for Marcus before compare to my feelings for Felix now was much stronger,"

"I don't think so, Maura," nakangisi niyang sagot. I pouted. "If you really have strong feelings for Marcus, then whatever you feel for Felix should have not let you stop from aiming for Marcus. I think you like Felix enough, or even more," he said.

Umiling ako at bahagyang tumawa. "You're wrong,"

"Prove it," hamon nito.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "How?"

"Still the same dare I gave you during the party. Kiss them both and let yourself decide,"

"Fine," pagtanggap ko ng hamon nito. "What will I get if I proved you wrong?"

"Anything, babe,"

"Alright. You're gonna lose, Theodore," I smirked before walking away.

Wednesday night was the night I planned to kiss Marcus. I was on Aki's bar surprisingly drinking a pink lemonade. No liquor. I do not want to be drunk. I have to feel and enjoy the moment I kiss Marcus. It was almost 11 when I saw Marcus enter the bar alone. He caught my eye and gestured me to follow him upstairs. He knows my plan? Theo probably told him. But why would he suddenly want me to kiss him? After many years of chasing him, why would he let me now?

"Wow! Just wow. Did I see that right? Pinapasunod ka niya?" hindi makapaniwalang sabi ni Aki. Sinagot ko lamang siya ng ngisi. "You don't seem thrilled," he commented.

I frowned and said, "I am excited!"

"Liar. Did something change?" he asked. I pouted and decided to leave rather than to answer. Mapapahaba pa ang usapan baka mabuking ako.

When I got upstairs papuntag VIP kung saan nakapwesto si Marcus, I saw Felix and Kim enter the bar. They were walking hand in hand. Andito sila? I thought Kim doens't like to party at napipilitan lang siyang pumunta during occassions? But why on earth are they heading towards the VIP too? Damn!
