The white sheets gave me comfort as I felt the rays of sun kissed my cheek. I groaned. When I checked my phone, it was already 6 in the morning. Lazily, I locked my phone and tried to sleep again. I was almost drifting back to sleep when a knock on my door woke me up.
"What?!" medyo iritado kong tanong.
"Ma'am, pinapatawag ka na po ng mommy mo," narinig kong sabi ng maid namin.
"I'm already up!" may iritasyon ko pang sabi.
"Okay po, ma'am, inaantay ka na po nila para magbreakfast."
"Susunod na ako," medyo nasa huwisyo kong sabi.
Agad akong nagpunta sa bathroom upang ayusin ang sarili ko bago ako bumaba.
I've been staying here at our house since I found out about Felix and Kim's whereabouts. I felt that familiar pang in my chest as I realized that I haven't gotten any texts or calls from Felix, too.
Baka nga magkasama sila. Today's the sixth day. If I remember so well, bukas na ang balik ni Felix. Ano naman ngayon? He left, walang paramdam... at kasama pa si Kimberly!
My heart was filled with pain and anger. And it kills me. Sobra.
People say love will hurt you in the process. I didn't realize how deep I was for Felix. I was aware how slowly I've been falling for him, but I never realized it was this deep until it hurt.
I went downstairs to eat with my parents. They asked me about my work and other stuff.
"Miss ko kasi kayo," sagot ko nang tanungin ako ni Mommy kung bakit magiisang linggo na akong hindi umuuwi sa condo ko. Except that it wasn't really my condo. It's Felix's... it's ours. "But I'll be staying there tonight," I suddenly decided.
Wala naman sila naging reklamo doon. I just figured that I should be at our condo tonight. I'm not sure if tonight of bukas pa siya uuwi. I just know I have to be there. I need to clear our issues.
"This is just too much!" padabog na reklamo ni Coleen nang alisin nito ang kanyang salamin. "I've been working with these since yeterday and it feels like hindi na ito mauubos!"
I laughed at her. "Maybe because you keep on whining every five minutes."
"Sino ba naman ang hindi magrereklamo dito?! Ugh! Nakakainis talaga iyong pinalitan ko! She left all of these!"
I chose to ignore her and tried to focus on my work. It was almost lunch time when my phone beeped. Ganoon na lamang ang panlalaki ng mata ko nang nakita ang pangalan ni Felix.
