Skye turned out to be pretty cool. Within 5 minutes she pulled up every single hospital record in the U.S. going back to the 1980's.  It was awesome, but then came the time to look through all of those records.

"So, what's your story?  How did you find out that you were Loki's sister?"  Skye asked as she scrolled down the page on her laptop.

"I figure you grew up on Earth, well, because you seem pretty cool towards all the electronics."  She added.

"Well, he kinda kidnapped me."  I answered with a nervous laugh.  Skye's eyes shot up.

"What?  Why?"

"I use to live with Director Fury, he adopted me.  Apparently when I was a baby, Odin sent me to Earth for my protection."  I explained, "Well, about a month and a half ago, Odin sent Loki to Earth to be held here.  Long story short, he escaped and found out that I was his sister."

"That seems like an awkward way of meeting."  Skye huffed and focused back on the laptop screen.  Her eyebrows suddenly furled.

"I think I got something.  About a year ago, all the patients in this hospital miraculously healed.  The things is, at least two of its patients had terminal cancer and had less then three months to live, they were about ready to be transferred to hospice.  They suddenly were completely healed and had no signs that they ever had cancer."  Skye explained.

"I'll go get the others." I announced as I stood up, Skye nodded. I turned and headed to the front of the quin-jet, which I had learned was probably the last one S.H.I.E.L.D had access to. I was really worried, worried about Fury, Maria, the Avengers, and all of the other S.H.I.E.L.D. agents.

My gaze set on the small group, standing in a circle, talking. Their conversation stopped the moment I walked within ear shot.

"Really obvious, guys." I groaned and tilted my head in annoyance. The group, Loki, Thor, Phil, Jemma and her friend, Leo, all turned to me.  Loki rolled his eyes.

"Skye thinks she found it."  I announced semi-excitedly. Loki's eyes lit up and he crossed the room in four steps, giant for me, but normal for him.

"Show me." He ordered as he followed me back to Skye.

UNKNOWN P.O.V.

She had felt it, maybe two weeks ago.  The wave of darkness that quickly washed over the realms, and then disappeared soon after.

She knew what caused it, someone in the nine realms, was marked for death.  A curse made from extremely dark magic, something very few dabbled with.

Who ever was marked for death, didn't have long, she knew that and that is why she kept her eyes open.  Her natural urge was to go help the being who's life was being taken away.

She couldn't leave Midgard to help them, but they might come to her.
