When I heard the first boom of thunder, I realized just what kind of assistance we were receiving. The lights in the hospital started to flicker as the second crack of thunder echoed through building. To my right—Loki sighed.
"Out of all of the times he decides to show off and make an entrance." Loki grumbled, crossing his arms.
"Okay Mr. I was merely going for a walk." I snapped, making air quotations with my fingers.
I swear Loki rolled his eyes at me.
"Hey, I wasn't the one who decided to leave their cell." I hissed, Loki sighed again.
"So much brother and sister bickering." Eir laughed. "It seems that you two are getting along very well."
"So, how exactly did you know figure out that Loki and I were siblings? I don't remember telling you." I asked curiously, might as well ask now while we're waiting for Thor. A small, sad smile crossed Eir's face.
"That is a very long story for another time." She explained with a soft chuckle—my curiosity peaked but I didn't continue.
A loud thud, drew my attention away from Eir and to one of the hospital's back doors. Through the glass I could faintly see Thor—decked out in his Asgardian armor—approaching the door.
The people at that end of the hallway all backed away—some out of fear and some out of awe that Thor was there—leaving the hallway almost empty.
Thor opened the door quickly, his gaze landing on us. His eyes lit up and he rushed over to us.
"Are you alright?" He asked, his eyes scanning over each us to ensure that none of us were injured.
"Yes, we are all fine." Loki responded before adding thankfully, "Thanks to Eir." The Goddess walked to my other side--greeting Thor with a small smile.
"By Odin's beard, it is truly a miracle that they found you." Thor chuckled softly, his bright blue eyes lighting up with delight.
"What of the guards outside?" Loki suddenly asked, uncrossing his arms. Thor turned his attention to his brother.
"I have taken care of them for now. I expect more will follow. The son of Coul is directing the flying ship to pick us up." Thor explained. "It should not be long now."
