We were in the air seconds after entering the quin-jet. Once in the air, we were greeted by several new faces.  A brown haired woman wearing a plain grey t-shirt and jeans and two others. The last two were definitely close, they stood right next to each other and whispered among them selves.

No one spoke for seconds, Loki and Phil stared at each other, half angered, half confused.  It didn't click why they acted like that until I remembered that Loki was the one that supposedly killed Phil all those years ago.  The brown haired woman stood with her jaw dropped at the fact that two demigods stood in front too her.

"Well, this is awkward."  I sighed, I turned to face Phil.  Before I could question him, Thor interrupted me.

"Where is Fury?" Thor asked, Phil's jaw locked and he turned his attention to Thor.

"To completely honest, we don't know."  Phil started.

"What do you mean?  I thought he was meeting us."  Thor exclaimed, confused but calmly.

"As I said before, a lot has happen in the past week.  S.H.I.E.L.D's been compromised."  Phil explained, my eyes widen.  What?  How could S.H.I.E.L.D be compromised?

"How?"  I finally managed to sputter out.

"Hydra had moles in S.H.I.E.L.D, they took it down from the inside.  Many of the Avengers have scattered and Fury is in hiding.  The only thing we've heard from him, was that we needed to pick you guys up.  I don't know why."  Phil answered.  I gulped, I had heard of Hydra before.  Captain America had fought against them before he was frozen, they were serious bad news.

"Most of the world now thinks S.H.I.E.L.D is the enemy and our agents are being tracked down."  Phil added, his gaze shifting back to Loki.  His eyes narrowed in suppressed anger, and it wasn't hidden very well.

Loki sighed and shift out his feet, I could tell he was anxious to look for Eir.

"We came to ask for help, Thor believe Fury could help us."  Loki explained.  He looked peeved by having to ask the man that he thought he had killed thirteen years ago for help.

"And he agreed to help you?"  Phil asked in shock, not believing a word that came from Loki's mouth.  Loki's eyes harden dangerously.

"No, he agreed to help me."  I snapped, not wanting Phil to continue to test my brother.  Loki was on the verge of daggering someone.  Phil's eyebrows furled.

"And who are you?"  Phil questioned, clearly unfamiliar with me.

"Fury's adopted daughter and Loki's sister."  I shot back, watching his face crash and burn.  The look on his face was priceless.

"Yah, yah, yah, just get over it already."  I groaned.

"We really need Fury's help, Son of Coul."  Thor suddenly urged again.

"Well you're just gonna have to let us help you because its basically impossible to track Fury down, we've tried."  The brown hair woman spoke up, moving so she was standing beside Phil.

"I'm Skye."  She added quietly.

"Now, what do you need help with?"

I pulled up my sleeve, the swirling mark on my wrist widen the eyes of the surrounding group.

"What is that?"  The woman I learned was named Jemma, gasped.  Her eyes were tracing the pattern in shock.

"It's an ancient Asgardian rune, an evil one at that, the Mark of Death.  The barer's life would be severely shorten after the Mark was created on the barer."  Loki explained in I voice so quiet, I could barely hear it.  The room was struck with a saddened silence.

"We are looking for the only person who can reverse it."  I added.  Phil nodded in understanding.

"Her name is Eir, she is the Goddess of Healing.  She was cast out of Asgardian many decades ago and has hidden herself on Midgard."  Thor explained.  I pulled my sleeve back down and looked around at the people surrounding us.  They all had looks of worry, like they didn't believe that they would be able to help us find Eir.  They looked as if they were already feeling guilty, and that made me sad.  I didn't want them to feel guilty if something happen to me, it wasn't their faults.

"How do you plan on finding her."  Skye asked curiously.  Loki explained what his mother had told him about her magic.

"How can we help?"  Jemma asked, determined.

"Eir wants to heal and help whoever she can, has there been any hospitals that it's patients seem to be suddenly healed out of no where?" I asked.

"I can look up hospital records in the U.S. but any where else, it might be a little bit tricky."  Skye piped up, I nodded.

"That's definitely a started."
