THIRD PERSON P.O.V
WOLF PEAK OHIOEir stared at the hospital doors. Every one had already gotten out, she would be the last to leave. Eir gave one more glance back into the hospital before she turned to leave, but someone was standing in front of her.
A tall woman that towered over Eir. Almost waist length, straight blonde hair flooded down her back and deadly cold green eyes stared down at her.
"I assume that you are Amora?" Eir presumed, gently clasping her hands behind her back. The woman squared her jaw and placed her hands on her hips. Her silver painted nails pressing into the skimpy dress she wore.
"You would be correct." Amora hissed back in response, blowing air out of her nose. Eir nodded and locked her jaw.
"And I assume that you know why I'm here, don't you?" Amora snapped quickly, moving her hands to cross her arms. Eir nodded her head again before taking a step back. She unclasped her hands and let them fall to her sides as they began to glow light green. Eir knew that this meeting would end in a fight.
Amora uncurled her fingers, balls of fire growing in her palms. A smirk drew across her face as she raised her hand and the flames flew at Eir.
Eir twisted out of the way, countering the fire with a burst of her own magic—sending a blast of blinding green light at Amora.
"If you're trying to kill me." Eir hissed between her clenched teeth. "You're going to have to try harder." Amora's smirk grew wider before she threw another fire ball at Eir.
This went on for what seemed like hours—Amora sending balls of fire at Eir and Eir countering them with shields and bursts of light.
Eir began to feel the effect of her magic use. Her shields became less effective each time she cast one and her energy felt drained. She could feel a heavy weight on her chest and her arms grew heavy. Eir knew she couldn't last much longer.
Amora on the other hand was still going strong, Eir noticed. Something that was nearly impossible for a sorceress of her age. Whatever dark magic Amora was dabbling in, was horrifyingly powerful.
When the next ball of flames came towards her, Eir had to drop to the ground to avoid being hit. Her lungs drew in a ragged breath when her hands hit the tiled floor. Eir's head bowed towards the ground in exhaustion before she tried to stand back up. Her arms instantly gave out and she crashed to the ground with a strangled cry.
Amora let out a laugh, stalking closer to Eir's fallen form. She crouched down next to the Goddess and forcibly rolled her over onto her back. Her hand found Eir's throat with an ever tightening hold. Eir struggled to catch her breath, clawing at Amora's hand.
"My dear Eir." Amora drawled out, disgusted. "I never intended on killing you—as much fun as that would be, but I need you alive." Amora's hand left Eir throat, letting her finally breath. Eir gasped for a few moments before her eyes slowly drifted to Amora's.
"W-why? W-why d-do h-ate h-him s-so much?" Eir coughed. Amora's lip curled and she rolled her eyes.
"Shut up." She snapped in response before snapping her fingers and watching Eir's eyelids flutter shut.
