The sound of a knock on the door, quickly drew our attention from our conversation. Eir turned and cracked open the door to see a short woman.

"What is it Elena?" Eir asked, opening the door completely. The nurse, Elena, looked out of breath. Her face was beat red and worried.

"There's a man," she paused to catch her breath. "Outside, he's demanding to speak with you." She explained. Eir let out an annoyed sigh.

"Very well, I will speak with him." Eir announced, her words clipped. Elena quickly looked over Eir's shoulder at us.

"He wants to talk with them as well." She added. I froze, whoever this man was, most likely worked for Hydra. Whatever he wanted, wasn't good.

Eir faced us, her gaze trained on Loki, as if silently asking him what we should do.

"He can't get the force field, it should not matter if we speak with him." Loki reassured her, but Eir still looked doubtful.

We followed Eir out of the hospital, my gaze landed on the single man standing just outside of the force field, a large grin plastered on his face.

As we got closer to the man, I noticed his vivid blue eyes much like Jacob's were when he was under Thano's control.  Loki tensed beside me.

"He's being controlled." He muttered under his breath before holding a protective arm in front of me when we stopped walking.

The man's smile seemed to grow wider as he crossed his arms across his chest.

"A prince, a goddess, a child and a mortal.  Nice group you have there, a bunch of misfits so I've heard."  The man chuckled darkly.

"Who is controlling you?"  Loki ordered as his eyes narrowed.

"Oh, an old friend.  I'll let you guess which one, since you seemed to have sooo many."  He snapped sarcastically in response.  Loki's jaw clenched and he took a threatening step towards the force field.

"Stop playing this petty game! Who is controlling you?" Loki growled and the man sighed before reaching into a pocket on his pants. He pulled out a small vial that easily fit in his palm. Bright, purple, liquid swirled inside.

"Let's just say, you've upset a lot of people. Amora sends her regards." The man chuckled before throwing the vial at the ground.  The glass shattered instantly. The bright purple liquid, sloshed against the force field and started to bubble and spark.

We watched in horror as the liquid branched up the force field, eating away at it like acid.  Eir's hand shot out in front of her, her fingers glowing a vibrant light green as she tried to rebuild the force field.  She gasped out in pain, clenching her eyes shut.

"I-It's not working."  She hissed, dropping her hand.  A drop of blood trickled down from her nose.

The hole in the force field was growing larger, almost to the point where the man could slip through.

"We need to protect the hospital.  The force field won't last much longer." Eir urged, her eyes widening out of fear.  Loki nodded at her and she took off towards the hospital doors, Skye right behind her.

Loki turned and grabbed my arm before pulling me after them.  We caught up with them quickly, pulling the hospital doors closed behind us.

"Round up all the staff, have them move all of the patients to the west wing of the hospital." Eir explained to Elena who had stood waiting for us when we left.  The nurse quickly nodded and took off down the hall.

"We need to barricade these doors," Loki said, once Elena had left.  Eir seemed to agree because her hands began to glow the same light green.  She held her palms at the doors and mumbled something under her breath.  To my right, Loki was doing the same.  His hands glowing a darker shade of green.

The doors were surrounded by a shimmery screen.  Flickering between greens, blues and silver.

"It's a warding spell, it's not as strong as the force field but it'll slow them down long enough for us to evacuate."  Eir explained urgently to Skye and me, her eyes glancing wildly to the patients still in the hallway.

Eir suddenly turned her attention back to Loki.

"The man said the name Amora.  Who is she?"  She asked him, worried.

"Amora is an enchantress.  She is the one who cast the spell on Lorien, but I was sure she was killed weeks ago."  Loki explained, looking at me towards the end.  I was sure was killed too.

"Does she hold any ill feelings towards either of you? The magic used to create that potion that destroyed my force field is powerful, she would only use it if she was dead set on something."  Eir asked, staring at me and Loki.  Loki's jaw clenched.

"Yes."  He hissed, his voice dripping with venom.
