I started to mentally and physically prepare myself for Bifrost travel—seeing that, I completely sucked at it.  When I say "prepare", I mean, repeatedly saying, 'I will not fall over, I will not fall over' in my head and taking a deep breath between every word.  I'm weird, I get it.

"What are you doing, kid?"  Tony laughed and I turned to shoot a glare at him before I returned to my ritual.

"Shut up."  I snipped, closing my eyes.  I will not fall over, I will not fall over, I will n—

"Are you meditating?"  Tony quirked.  I spun around, my hands balled in lose fists.

"Fight me."  I snapped.  Tony raised his eyebrows at me.  "Fight you?"

"Yes, advance towards me brethren." I jumped up and down on the balls of my feet, slowly jumping towards him.

"Okay kids, it's time to break it up."  Clint announced, stepping in between Tony and I.  "Fine." I snipped before turning to the rest of the group.

They had found a clearing big enough that the Bifrost wouldn't cause any damage and were apparently waiting for me and Tony.  I shrugged and ran over to Loki.  I grabbed his hand—because, as I said before, I'd probably fall down without it.  Once everyone was ready, Thor called out for Heimdal and a crack filled the air before the beam of color came down on us.

I was hit with the familiar feeling of weightlessness and nausea as I normally did and then within seconds, my feet hit the ground.  Surprised that I was still standing, I glanced over to Tony, Clint and Natasha.  This would be their first time using the Bifrost or being in Asgard.

Natasha and Clint seemed fine just slightly disoriented but Tony on the other hand, was on the floor.  "Woah."  He stammered, pushing himself up.

My eyes next found Heimdal—who I had become friends with the last time I was in Asgard.  A smirk rested on his lips at the sight of Tony before he spoke.

"Welcome to Asgard."  Clint almost jumped, only now noticing Heimdal.

"Hi."  I waved towards him, Heimdal chuckled and waved back.

"I see that your trip to Midgard was successful."  Heimdal replied. I nodded, glancing at the group.

"Prepare to see Asgard, kids!" I called out, running towards the rainbow bridge.

~*~

Running on the rainbow bridge was was not the smartest idea and I am not a clever girl. Landing on my bottom half-way across finally made me realize this.

This incident resulted in Tony making fun of me and me threatening to fight him again.

When we did finally make it to the palace, I was overcome with excitement. The palace was beautiful.  Natasha, Clint and Tony were in awe as well but Natasha and Clint hid it better then Tony—who I'm pretty sure was about to have a heart attack from the speed in which he was rambling off scientific words about Asgard.

Thor led us through the massive front doors and I was then met with the sight of the golden floors and pillars.  What surprised me was the little ball of fur, curled up in the middle of the floor.

"Midnight!"  I laughed and kitten jumped up.  He had gotten a little bigger, I noticed this as he bounded over to me.  I picked him up and petted his ears.

"You're in Asgard for a week and you get a cat?" Tony exclaimed, his eyebrows raising.

"Actually, I got him a while back."  I explained before Midnight jumped from my arms at Tony.  He landed on Tony's pants and started to climb up his pants as he mewed.

"Demon cat."  Tony hissed, staring down at the harmless ball of fluff climbing up his leg.

"Loki!  Thor!"  A voice called from down the corridor, drawing our attentions away from Midnight.  Frigga came walking down the hall, her long golden dress trailing behind her.

"Mother."  Thor and Loki said at almost the same time, going to greet her.  I went to follow after them but I stopped when Loki bowed his head and a heartbroken look crossed his face.  He had said something to his mother, probably the same something he had been finding from the group.  Frigga's lips pulled in a tight line and she placed her hand on Loki's arm before she glanced over at me.

"Lorien."  She greeted softly.  "You may come over, child."  I hesitantly listened and approached her and my brother.

I stopped once I stood in front of the three of them—my thoughts filled with curiosity.  Frigga held a soft, smile on her face.

"I have been told that Eir is able to created a cure.  That is simply wonderful."  Frigga explained.  "I haven't seen her in ages.  I'm still attempting to get my stubborn husband to revoke her banishment."

"She wanted to kick Loki's butt when we got there.  But yes, we've got two of the three ingredients Eir needs to make the cure.  Loki says the third item is here in Asgard?"  I chirped.  Frigga's smile dampened.

"Yes, he is correct." Again, why was this topic so upsetting. What were they not telling us?

"What's wrong?" I asked. Frigga shook her head gently. "Nothing to worry your self about, we will get it all figured out." She explained, her lips twisting up into a smirk before she turned to face the rest of the group.

"I see that you have brought several new faces." Did Frigga just change the topic on me?
