THIRD PERSON P.O.V.

Amora let out an agitated sigh, fingernails digging into her palms. They made it to Asgard. She growled in her head, clenching her jaw. Her cold emerald gaze fell onto the unmoving form on the ground in front of her. He was one of my favorites. It was a shame that he didn't do what was asked of him.

She needed the goddess to talk but she wouldn't—I'll just have to try again.

LORIEN'S P.O.V

Introductions were quick, despite my surprise when Frigga had changed the topic on me. It was pretty noticeable that Natasha and Frigga were going to get along pretty well—for some odd reason.

"It seems as it is getting late." Frigga suddenly concluded, her eyes drifting to the open wall to her right, the setting sun sent rays of orange light down to sparkle on the gold pillars. Great, now I have to wait until tomorrow.

"I believe we should get you settled in for the night and then tomorrow we shall start to recover the Freyja stones." She explained, clasping her hands together.

"W-what about Odin, w-will h-he—"

"My husband will learn to tolerate." Frigga cut off Tony's quiet question. As much as I was upset, Frigga was totally a bad butt.

By the time I got back to my room, I was exhausted. I looked around the huge room, nothing was changed—it was like I had been living there the entire time. A new tray of fruit and water sat by my bed, probably brought by Tove when Heimdal saw that we were coming.

I sighed and fell down onto the giant, fur covered bed. I wonder what the rest of the group was thinking of their rooms. Tony was probably already calculating in his head how much money it would cost to replace all the blankets in the Tower with Asgardian fur and silk. Natasha and Skye were probably already asleep and Clint was most likely perched on his balcony.

I need to sleep. I reminded myself, as much as I didn't want to, I needed to. This might be my last time to get a good nights rest before we can get rid of the mark. But what if I have another nightmare?

A black poof of fluff, bounded up onto my bed. Midnight's green eyes almost glowed in the low light of my room. He mewed as if he was saying sleep. Then he curled himself into a little ball by my side.

Fine, I'll try.

The air was cold. So cold it nipped across my skin leaving tiny tendrils of frost in its trail. My teeth chattered and my arms shook, I realized that I was yet again standing barefoot. Snow covered the landscape, surrounding my feet and sticking to the thin, barren trees across from me.

It was close to dusk, the sun dipping below the horizon, casting the wilderness in shadows. The wind whipped around me like a storm, sending me towards the trees for shelter.

I stumbled through the snow, my feet burning from frost burn but I couldn't do anything about it. I fell forward, landing in the powdery snow. I whimpered as the cold seeped through my clothes, freezing my skin. I was going to die without heat.

A loud howl suddenly echoed through the trees, causing me to freeze in my spot. The hair on my neck stood on end as the howl slowly came to an end and a sharp bark followed. It was coming.

I scrambled forward on my hands and knees but I didn't get far. I lifted my head to see two, gigantic black paws, in the white in front of me. Another whimper escaped my throat but I couldn't move, I was too cold and too afraid. I continued to slowly lift my head until I was staring into two blood red eyes. It's hot breath fanned out across my face.

It was going to kill me.

"Please." I stammered, lowering my head back to the ground. A low growl bubbled from the beast's throat. I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for it's canines to come down on me.

The air went silent. Not even the wind made a noise.

I meekly peeked open my eyes, shock covering my features to see the giant wolf lying down in front of me. It's huge head resting on it's paws, watching me. It's eyes were no longer the color of blood, but had softened to a golden amber. What was it doing?

I still couldn't make myself move, fear still present in my mind. The wolf tilted it's head, inching closer while making a whimper like noise. Is it trying to get me to trust him? Because last time I check, it tried to kill me.

The wolf made the noise again, inching it's head even closer. His snout nudged at my arm, the one with the mark. I slowly reached my arm out, still afraid that he would try to eat my arm. His eyes seemed to narrow as he stared at the black lines swirling across my wrist. He then looked back up at me with an almost worried gaze. What was this wolf trying to tell me?
