Nikki's P.O.V.
"I'm home!" I heard someone call from the front door. I walked down the steps, along with Kyo and my two sisters to greet Shigure. I still had the slight feeling that I was rude when I rejected the invitation to the banquet, but I only wanted Kyo to come with me. The four of us walked up to the door, where Shigure stood free to h Yuki and Tohru. "Oh hello there Katy, Ash, Kyo, and Nikki, so nice to see all of you once again."
"I actually enjoyed those three days you were gone." Katy said rudely.
"Such a shame, Katy. Talking like that to a man like me." Shigure protested innocently. "Anyways, what has my dear Tohru make for breakfast today."
"It's twelve o'clock, it's almost lunch time." Ash corrected.
"Oh right, this silly thing must be broken." He said as he looked at his watch and tapped it a few times.
"You mind is broken." Katy stated. For once she's right about something.
"Oh haha, um I'm just gonna go into my room for a minute, then I'll come back here to wait for lunch–."Shigure says, then he got cut off by Kyo.
"Lunch is ready, we were waiting for you to come." Kyo interrupted.
"Aw, how sweet! The little kitty wanted to wait for the big doggy to come home." Katy mocked, then bursted into laughter.
"Talk in that voice one more time, your gonna wake up in hell." Kyo says irritatedly.
"Anywhere but here would be a dream." Katy responded then crossed her arms.
"I think we should go before you get too frustrated and kill someone." I whisper in Kyo's ear, though I had to stand on my toes to do so.
"Yeah, I think that's a good idea." He quietly answered, then let out a small chuckle.
"So you're gonna back down from a fight aren't you?" Katy said as if she heard Kyo and I whisper to each other.
"Hey Katy, remember that time when you were sweet and innocent? Yeah, that's the you I like." I say as I reminded her the tiles she would always smile.
"Nikki, people change. You have to accept that fact." She replied then walked to the kitchen.

I placed my chopsticks down, then I drank the last few drops of water that was in my cup. A few minutes later Tohru got up, then collected everyone's plates. Tohru stopped where I sat to grab my plate and glass, until I stopped her.
"No, let me do it instead," I insisted. "You work everyday nonstop, you should take a rest."
"Oh no! I love working. After all, I promised Shigure that I would." Tohru said happily.
"Tohru, Nikki's right. You should take a rest, just for a day. After all, you do so much for us." Shigure corresponded.
"Oh....okay." She answered knowing that she was defeated in this small argument."
"Don't feel bad," I say to cheer her up. "Tomorrow, you can get back to work, but for now let me do the dishes."
"I'll help." Kyo blurted out. I smiled then I took the dirty plates out of Tohru's hands, then I brought them to the kitchen. Kyo followed behind me, carrying a few glasses and plates. I placed the dishes into the sink then I grabbed the ones from Kyo's hands. We continued to wash the dishes together, then occasionally blush at each other if our hands accidentally touch.
"Okay, we're done," I say after we washed the dishes for a few minutes. "What should we do next?"
"I don't know actually." Kyo replied, placing his hand behind his head.
