Nikki's P.O.V.
(Warning: Fluffy stuff in the first few paragraphs, so please keep your heads fastened or else you'll explode from kawaiiness. Thank you)
The next morning, I woke up in Kyo's arms. I chuckled softly as I released myself from his grip, only to stretch. Although, that only startled him and caused him to bolt up from his slumber in panic. I giggled at his sudden reflex, though it only made him stare in confusion.
"What's so funny?" he asked curiously as he gave me an odd look.
"Nothing, it's just how you bolted right up after I removed your arms off of my waist." I blushed at the end. It felt kind of weird saying something like that, especially towards him. If you ask me, Kyo isn't the best adviser about love.
"What," he questioned. "I was hugging you in my sleep?" I gave him a slight nod as I smiled. "That's weird, though kinda cute."
I couldn't help but blush, yet this time it was a darker red. This made Kyo chuckle quietly, just in case he didn't wake anyone up.
"So," I began slowly. "How did my little prince sleep?"
I noticed Kyo's face flushing a light red around his cheeks, which made me giggle at his cuteness.
"W-why the hell did you just call me a prince?" he stuttered.
"Erm, well," I paused for a moment and took a deep breath. "I just think you're a prince to me. You protect me and all so yeah." I smiled a bit at the end. Kyo couldn't but smile back and embrace me with all of his might.
Kyo releases his arms away from my waist and looked at me seriously. "Nikki, listen. We need to stop Akito. He killed your mother, attempted to ruin our love, nearly kill your sisters, made you see someone you never wanted to meet again, and now he's haunting you in your dreams. He's gone too far; we need a plan."
I sat up and glanced at him, then back down to the bedsheets beneath me. "I know. He's caused so much pain and it's only been like what...almost a year? What do you have in mind for a plan?"
He gave me a puzzling look like he was saying that I was relying on him to save us and the entire family from the gruesome Akito and my father. "W-why are you counting on me to save everyone? I'm just the Cat of the Zodiac, I'm nothing special..."
I gave Kyo a tight bear hug, hoping that will boost his confidence. "I understand, but we can do it together! This is your chance to prove that you can do anything, and hat you're not useless. And after we defeat them, their might be a high chance that you will definitely not be imprisoned for the rest of your life. I know how much you want to be with me forever."
Kyo sat there in an astonished position, until a small smile curled up onto his lips. He placed his hand on my head, gripping my brown hair lightly, then leaned forward for a kiss. I did the same and closed my eyes passionately. Our lips pressed moments later, and it felt like paradise. Unfortunately, a shiver ran down my spine as I started growing goosebumps on my skin. There was an odd feeling in the room, like Kyo and I weren't alone. Once Kyo pulled away from our kiss, I quickly glanced back and noticed Ash and Katy staring at us in shock, yet somehow amused.
"Ash, Katy, what are you two doing in here?" I asked in an irritated tone.
"Ever heard of knocking?" Kyo added in the same tone of mine. Generally, whenever Kyo and I are in one of our romantic moments, there is always someone spying on us for their own enjoyment.
Ash rolled her eyes then answered, "We heard you two muttering something in here, so we decided to stop by and see what you two were blabbering about in here."
