You sat comfortably, snuggled up against your loving hero in blue. He was over at your place at the moment, watching a movie. You could feel him slowly tracing shapes into the small of the back, which was slowly luring you to sleep. "Leo.. I wanna be awake when you have to go." You whined a bit, only to have Leo's arm wrap a little tighter around your waist. "Princess," He sighed, placing a kiss on the top of your head. "Night patrol starts late tonight.. you should be asleep when I have to leave." You pouted a bit, focusing your eyes on the movie. Leo sighed, while he continued tracing words into your back, though, you were having a hard time telling what he was spelling.
*20 minutes later also Leo POV*
(Y/n) had fallen asleep. I continued tracing the three words I have been dying to tell her into her back gently. I set an alarm on my phone, just in case I fell asleep. It was hard not to, in all honesty. She looked so peaceful. I gently picked her up, carrying her to her bed. If I had to go on night patrol, I was at least going to sleep with my princess for a little while.
*some hours later and back to your POV yolo*
You felt the warmth of your ninja boyfriend leaving, causing you to scrunch your face up. You slowly opened your eyes, rubbing them a bit to wake up. Leo was standing by your bedroom door, trying to put his pants back on. (Relax, it's just boxers shush.) "Do you really have to go?" You said, in a small, almost whisper like voice. Leo turned around, just noticing you awake. "Did I wake you?" He spoke, walking to you. "You know I would stay if I could.. I'll be back, 5 hours, tops." He promised quietly, almost as if he was talking to a child. He placed a quick kiss on your lips, before walking to the door again. "Leo? Wait." You got up, walking towards him. He turned, looking at you, waiting for you to speak. "I love you.. come back safe, okay?" You pressed a light kiss to his lips, turning back towards the bed. Before you even had time to yawn, you were in Leo's arms, your back pressed against the back of the door, as he was holding you up. "Say it again." He demanded, his eyes shaking a bit as he held his gaze with yours. "I love yo-" before you could finish your thought, Leo's lips were covering yours in a heated kiss. You buried your hands in his hair, pulling him closer. He took his lips off yours, placing gentle kisses on your neck. "I," kiss. "Love." Kiss. "You," kiss. "So much." You moaned quietly as he found your sweet spot. "LEO. COME ON, WE GOTTA GO!" You heard from outside your door. Leo groaned audibly, burying his face in the crook of your neck. He placed one last kiss there, before setting you down gently. He took your face gently in his hands, as you stared into each other's eyes. "We will continue this when I get back. I love you (y/n)." You placed a hand over his, kissing him once more. You whispered, still hovering over his lips, "I love you Leonardo. I'll be waiting." You moved towards the bed, as he took one last glance before going through the door, into the night.
"We're finishing this as soon as possible. Understood?" You heard Leo growl to the others, before you felt your eyes droop. A little nap couldn't hurt, right?
