Who gave you the right to steal my attention? I shouldn't have to chase after you, begging for it back. I shouldn't want to.

I'm exhausted.
It was somewhere between midnight and sunrise now making the idea of sleep become more and more distant. I've been tossing and turning all evening, unable to go to sleep. I've done everything from counting sheep to humming to masturbating at an attempt of getting drained and falling to sleep.
I feel disturbed by my room. It is hot, but it's also freezing once I peel my comforter off. I can feel tiny crumbs of dirt and the tiny creases that form along the bed sheets. Despite how I move, what I think of I can't seem to get comfortable enough to go under.
I hate this bed.
I hate my room.
I hate this house.
I hate my life.
I keep replaying the argument between my mom and I in my head. In my opinion, she was being completely irrational. Being seventeen, I can feel the natural urge to go on my own; to experience and experiment, but I am stuck home. Even if I was allowed to do what I wanted, nothing illegal is appealing to me; my mom knows this, she knows everything- or that's what she likes to believe. It was naive of me to think I would be able to get away with something like this, but it was idiotic from my mother to think it was a crime. I wasn't doing drugs. I wasn't drinking. I wasn't doing anything wrong.
I stir in my mattress, why was she so bitter?
Despite the fact that I wasn't doing anything illegal, I couldn't exactly tell her that I was out driving around with some asshole that's older than me.
He didn't even know my name.
At first, I wanted to believe he was kidding when he said he didn't know what my name was. Who even does that? I'd like to be able to let this go, but he had proven to be nothing but an asshole so far. An aggressive one.
I look up over the dim glow coming from my window.
The sun should be coming up soon.
It would be so easy to just stay here, to not go to school, but alas I drag myself out from between the sheets and head to the bathroom. I quietly shower the exhausting night away.
Showered and brushed, I attempt at tidying up my room and getting dressed. I pick up the toys and clothes that layered the floor in a slobbish manner. Once I'm done, I look at my reflection through the mirror above my dresser.
