A/N: PAUSE!!!!
There is an extremely important author's note that I highly suggest you read. It's no more than 45 words or so and I promise you won't regret doing so.
(Thinking of he who causes electricity to course through me, but repels the charge.)

Warmth;
The lingering feeling of a mild feverish sensation that is cozy and usually pleasant to remain in. Bliss.
His warmth;
Something absolutely different.

"You can stay again tonight, kids." Josh's mother suggested as we finished packing away the last of Josh's drums.
"No, Ma, we don't have to," Josh shook his head, "I was actually planning on taking Phoebe home tonight."
I arch my eyebrow suggestively at him, but he didn't catch my flirtatious glance.
"None sense, your girlfriend is falling asleep right here." she pointed at me as I swayed in sleepy bliss, "Besides, Tyler left the house in his car."
"What do you mean? Is he coming back?" Josh said slightly panicked.
"I'm sure he'll be fine, baby." She waves off, but this doesn't seem to calm Josh's nerves, "Sweetie, go on to Josh's old room, you can sleep there tonight." she smiled sweetly at me, my eyes barely opened.
"Mom, I don't know if that's such a good idea." Josh's eyes widened, I knew he didn't like me in there.
"Go on and carry her up to the stairs and put her in the bed." She pointed sternly.
He tries to protest, "Mom-"
"No buts , Joshua." I smiled a little and outstretched my arms innocently. "Take me upstairs."
"Of course, princess." he gritted his teeth angrily as he scooped me up, his hands placed comfortably this time along my ass.
He huffed unhappily as he walked up the stairs, my arms around his neck, and my head on his chest. We entered his familiar room, and he dropped me abruptly on the sheets.
"Goodnight." The boy said emotionlessly, but as he went to walk away, I pulled him back on top of me.
"Phoebe, no." He half smiled. "We're not about to do this while my mom is downstairs."
"Why not?" I whined at him. "Can't we just finish what we started earlier?" I raised an eyebrow suggestively.
He took in a ragged breath, my hands traveling his back and chest making him shiver.
"Phoebe-."
"Oh, come on Josh!" I traced my fingers across his bicep slowly as he climbed off of me and stood, "Why're you acting so bitter all of the sudden?"
"I'm not bitter." He mumbled quietly.
"Can you at least stay with me for a little bit?" I pleaded.
Still hesitant, "My mom is downstairs-"
"I just want you to lay here." I smiled sweetly as his eyes got wide, "I won't try anything. I promise."
"You just pulled me on top of you." Josh said in a monotone voice with half closed eyelids.
