How to Not be Awkward (Chanyeol)

TIME OUT LESSON: ZERO

This is short. I'm not supposed to do a Chanyeol's POV but you know, can't leave out these details so here it is. It's actually just a drabble of mine but can't let it go to waste so yeah I'll stop talking.

Chanyeol's POV

After class, Yifan ordered the rest of the team to go to the gym and changed. Apparently, we were supposed to add more practice in our schedule since the State Championship was only two months away (and I think Yifan was still hang-up on Xijun so he uses the team as a way of relieving stress).

It was a pain in the ass believe me but it's not like I can defy Yifan over this. He's the captain after all.

I took my time walking. I wanted to delay the time I'd be spending being grilled by push-ups, lay ups and whatever Yifan had in mind. I swear that guy has some anger issues.

I got inside the lockers and most of them were already in their uniforms. I greeted them all, sitting at the bench when Luhan emerged from the showers. He looked at me and he grinned.

"Chanyeol! Just the guy I need." He greeted me.

I raised my eyebrow, confused. Luhan rarely need something. He usually hangs out with Minseok so I don't see anything he might need help from me for.

"You going to the party this Saturday?" he asked sitting beside me while he put on his socks.

I don't know where the conversation was going so I nodded. "Yeah..."

"That ass just wants to know if the girl you introduced earlier, what's her name, is coming." Minseok said, leaning on the locker, rolling his eyes.

I fought the urge to smirk.

"Do you want me to?" I tried to sound so innocent like I still didn't invite her and all. I wanted to test the waters if they would be willing to make her come.

Luhan shrugged. "You can invite her. Yifan didn't tell us we couldn't invite anyone right?"

Minseok threw the face towel to Luhan. "You just want to get in her pants."

Luhan glared at him. "You're disgusting. I'm just interested okay?"

"Hina is coming?" Jongdae asked as soon as he got inside the lockers area. He sat beside me giving me his famous giddy smile.

I rolled my eyes at him.

Minseok however, grimaced. "I'm not Luhan, that guy is." He said pointing over at Jongdae's direction.

"What's that?" Jongdae asked me, confused.

Luhan grimaced. "He said you're disgusting."

"Minseok! You always break my heart." Jongdae sniffled dramatically clinging onto Minseok's arm while the latter was fringing him away from his.

I laughed quietly at that. I was secretly pleased at the fact that the plan did work and to make things better, someone was actually interested in her.

I wouldn't count Jongdae for the guy was really a ladies' man but Luhan isn't.

And to make things exciting, Luhan is Sehun's half-brother which will give Hina an opportunity to get close to Sehun.

Luhan was quietly rummaging through his locker. He seemed to be deep in thought so I thought I should just leave him be.

I got inside one of the stalls to change.
