The only thing I'm sure of right now is that I'm going nowhere. I am lost. And this is because of Park Chanyeol... again.
Ever since I saved that guy from his possible kick out, my life had been a mess. I can't have my peace because he's always on my hair and now I can't be in peace with myself thinking on what could he be planning to get Oh Sehun to notice me.
I dialed his number for the umpteen time this morning because who would know that a ten blocks house could actually get me lost.
"Yeah?" he answered after the third ring.
"Chanyeol," I sighed, frustrated. "You told me you're only ten blocks away from our house and this is more than I'm walking right now. Are you sure you knew where I live?"
"Yeah and it is ten blocks." He emphasized and I rolled my eyes.
"I know how to count Chanyeol and this is not ten blocks."
"Are you taking a car?" he asked after a while.
"I don't have a car."
I heard a lot of rustling in the background before he answered. "Oh that might be it; must be different when you're taking a car, my bad." I could even hear the smirk in his voice.
I bit my lip in frustration. Is he kidding me right now? "Thanks a lot, you know what-"
"No no no no no, don't think about backing out. I'll just pick you up." He said, I heard jiggling of keys and the door being slammed shut.
"Where are you right now?" he asked.
I tapped my foot I frustration, looking around me. "There's a big black and white house in front of me-"
"Ok, I know that place. Wait for me." then he hang up.
I should have added to my conditions to refrain from cutting me off.
It's Sunday and usually on Sundays, I would be on my laptop all day watching on Netflix or reading a book and enjoying the free day I only have (I have afternoon classes on Saturday). But no, here I am waiting for Park Chanyeol to pick me up because of the deal. Apparently, he thought we might need to do some kind of lesson or whatever it is he's thinking. He has basketball tryouts on Saturday and that usually ends at 8pm and he reasoned out he might not be much of a help if we meet up after that so he set up a schedule that every Sunday, we should meet up. I swear to god if Oh Sehun didn't get to be mine by the end of this, I'm killing Chanyeol.
Well maybe not kill literally but close.
I saw his car approaching and how do I know this? Ever since I've agreed to this, I make it a point to pay extra attention to him. It's nothing serious, I just wanted to know what his mannerisms when he's happy or nervous or lying. I need to know things about him, things that make him annoyed or happy or anything. I just need to know because I still don't trust him and I need to exploit what kind of person Park Chanyeol is for my own sake. And this doesn't make me a bad person okay? You would study someone you don't know too.
He rolled his windows down when he reached me, looking behind him in understanding. "Now that I think about it, it's doesn't really seem to be ten blocks only."
"Glad you noticed." I answered sarcastically, unable to hide my annoyance.
He raised his eyebrow, amused. "Did you just use sarcasm?"
I blinked in surprise. I opened my mouth to explain but I shut it again. Juli and Heejun are the only ones who know this side of me.
"Sorry" I muttered.
