Park Chanyeol

"After breakfast, get dress Chanyeol" is the first thing I heard from my sister as soon as I got down for breakfast.

I poured maple on my pancake before looking at Yoora, my sister skeptically.

"What? Are we going somewhere?" I asked.

Yoora looked at me smiling. "I'm going shopping."

I rolled my eyes but nonetheless nodded. I don't mind tagging with my sister when she shops. Actually I don't mind tagging with sister wherever she goes. I became too attached to her when she came back from New Jersey. I find it better this way where she doesn't have friends who use her for money or fame, or a boyfriend who uses her as a punching bag.

She was abroad and I was a freshman at that time. She came back in my sophomore year, in the middle of her college term a mess and heartbroken. Apparently she was being bullied in her school and her boyfriend being a complete asshole to her. He'd always beat my sister up when he's jealous, even on the littlest of things. I was the only one she ever told of what had happened to her abroad, even our parents didn't know anything and assumes that she wanted to switch schools for another reason. At that time I wanted to kill the guy. I wanted to kill her friends. I wanted to kill everyone who dared to hurt my sister and I guess from then on, she started to rely to me. I don't mind. I love having her around. A lot of guys tried to make a move on her when she switched schools, even from my friends but I wasn't having any of that. I can't bear the thought of having my sister getting hurt again.

So I vowed to myself that I would protect my sister at all costs. I'd be her friend, her bestfriend, bodyguard, god even boyfriend. I'd be anything for my sister until I am sure that the people she's with are good enough for her. That's why she doesn't really have friends here. Sure she has that sort of friendships in her current school but she has on girl or anyone other than me that she could ask or rely on something as shopping. I don't like to think she minds about it though.

After breakfast, I showered and get dressed. I didn't particularly dress myself up since I know Yoora takes her time picking her clothes and we'd probably be back by evening. I knocked on her door to let her know that I'll be waiting for her at her car.

She got down a few minutes later, giving me a glare before tossing her keys at me.

"You know, I'm capable of driving us Chanyeol." She said, sliding into the passenger's side in defeat.

I smiled slyly. I just always insist on driving us for one reason: to let the guys know that she's off limits. But of course I won't tell her that.

"You're ruing my image as a guy, this is the least you could do." I said as I started the engine.

Yoora rolled her eyes half-heartedly.

We didn't talk much throughout the ride. We're always like that. We got to Hongdae by lunch time. I parked the car, deciding to have lunch first before taking the streets again to shop. We could afford to go to a much pricey street like Garuso-gil but my sister likes her things to be, as she said, unique that's why she always shops here. To be honest, I don't know what she's talking about.

We got to the make-up store first. I let her roam around on her own since she doesn't like me tailing her around that much. Some girls smile at me and I return them back, out of being nice. I was in the middle of reading the cover of a toner brand when Yoora tapped me on the back.

I put it back on the shelf looking for Yoora's hand for something to carry. However, she was still clutching that mini cart with her cosmetics inside.
