Hina sighs.

That's actually the fifth to come out of her lips. I look at her from the corner of my eyes curiously. Seeing her troubled amuses me not because I like seeing her miserable but that she won't tell it to me no matter how hard I try to get it out of her. This one problem seems to bother her big time and it's getting amusing to watch how long she will keep that from me. She won't tell me if I ask anyway, she has to give the initiative.

So I ignored it.

We were at my room with us seated beside each other on my bed, back on the headboard. I'm reading some college brochure while she's answering some crossword puzzle which is still unanswered by the way.

She sighs again. Six.

I flipped through the brochure when she sighs again. Seven.

I was about to peek again but to my surprise she was already looking at me.

My heart started going weird again. I'm not going to admit this to Hina but she has this something in her that affects me, probably more than I affect her and just one look into her eyes could get my mind at blank.

I raised one eyebrow questioningly. "Is there something wrong?"

She stared at me, longer than would deem normal for her before looking away.

"Nothing" she said pouting.

Now this is interesting.

I closed my brochure and stared at the child-like behavior she's showing.

"You've been taking distress breathes for the past minutes and you suddenly looked at me and now it's nothing?"

She sighed again. Eight.

Her ears started going red but before I could get a good look of her face, she buried her face on my covers. She said something but it was muffled out.

"What was that?" I asked confusedly.

She looked up at me accusingly. "You already heard it."

I chuckled at her cuteness. I crossed my arms, raising my eyebrows at her accusation. "No, I don't Hina. Now tell me."

She sat crossed legged in front of me. I put the brochure and her crossword on the table beside my bed and focus my attention on her. I know she hates it but I can't help but tease her bit, knowing I could affect her just by looking at her.

She tugged the covers over her.

"You'll laugh at me" she muttered. I guess that was meant to be heard. She has a tendency to voice out her thoughts sometimes.

"I won't" I said. Even though it wasn't probably true since everything she does makes me smile for no apparent reason.

She sighed again.

"That's the ninth time" I noticed, giving her a meaningful gaze when she looked at me in mild surprise. She must be surprise how I've been attuned to her actions.

"I'm so embarrassed" she confessed, tugging the covers again to hide her blushing face. And even though I wanted to laugh, for she was so adorable like that, I didn't because I don't want her to feel so embarrassed any more than she is.

I tug the covers down gently and she had her eyes closed. I smiled slightly.

"I won't laugh" I said firmly.

She suddenly holds both of my hands and settled it on her lap. I was taken aback. She rarely initiates skinship and I respect her boundaries so I tried not to cross that line that much, I'm afraid that might scare her.
