chapter 10

Amanda's POV

After I picked up Miranda from Liz's. I went back to the boarding house. When I got there everyone was gone I walked upstairs and into Mirandas room I laid her down and tip toed out her room. I went to my room and fall asleep The next morning I woke up to Miranda crying I got out of bed and walked into Mirandas room I picked her up " someone needs a diaper change." I laid her down on the changing table and started changing her. I got a text from Elena

Elena: going for a jog thought you would like to come

Amanda: sure left me fed Miranda then I will be on my way.

I put the phone down and did my morning rounite.

I knocked on my old door a few mins later Elena opens the door she sees Miranda and smiles

" She looks so beautiful, love the hat."

"Damon bought it for her." She smiled.

"Your ready for our run?" I looked at her confused

"You said we were jogging not running " Elena laughs as she skipped down the stairs and began to run" Your lucky I use to do track!" I yell. She turned and laughs. I began to run pushing Mirandas stroller. I caught up to her fast. We were running through Mystic falls. Elena stops and checks her watch to see what time it is. Then She turns around and looks a little nervous

"Come on Amanda." She smiles and runs off again. I just stood there looking at her her. she turns around and runs off again. I turned and seen a man standing there so I ran after Elena. She turns the corner and speed off man she is paranoid. After a few mins she stops and looks behind her.

"Elena what's going on ? " She looks at me

"I swear we were being followed ." She says while catching her breath. I didn't say nothing I just being to push Miranda. She seemed to calm down. Suddenly she bumps into the same man that was behind us earlier. I gave Elena Mirandas stroller and I stepped in front of both of them

"Excuse me. Should have been watching where I was going " He smiles at me then at Elena. I could feel my fangs coming out

"Dont worry about it." Elena says behind me

"Have a nice day ladies." He says. Then he jogs away.

"Okay, I think I deserve a very large strong drink after that " Elena laughs and we began to walk towards the grill it didn't take us long to get there. we walked in and Elena pushes Miranda with her to get a table I go to the bar and compelled the bartender to get me the tallest drink they have. after I got my drink I walled over to Elena she was caring and feeding Miranda. We ordered some breakfast and Bonnie came and sat down with us

"I feel like I'm going crazy, totally paranoid all the time Elena says. I continued to eat my ham and eggs

"You have a right to be, Klaus is still out there and he knows you both tried to kill him. " Bonnie says

"You know what I really don't care anymore " they both looked at me " He's gonna do what hes gonna do, I'm not going to let him effect my life by worrying AL the time."

"If that's the case Amanda why hasn't he made a move? there has been no sign of him nothing . I'm just slowly spiral into insanity" I not gonna let Nik do that to me

"Join the club. everytime I close my eyes, I have that nightmare on repeat " Bonnie says

"The same dream? what dream?"
