Chapter 22

Elena pov

Mirandas party was so cute Caroline really did a good job a lot of the things Caroline brought I didn't even think Amanda thought of. I noticed Damon and Amanda were talking then he gave Amanda a kiss on the cheek then kissed Miranda a kiss on the cheek then he left.

When I asked Amanda where did Damon go she told me he went to for Ric. It was actually Amanda who told him to go and look for Ric. Damon has been gone for awhile but I don't think Amanda noticed cause she was playing with Miranda and talking to the guest. I was surprised to see Klaus and Rebekah here cause the last time I checked Amanda and Klaus were not talking anymore but I guess they made out cause they were holding hands and kissing each other he even was playing with Miranda. I looked around and seen Stefan and Caroline talking to each other I couldn't help but check him out. After all I still loved him

"I seen that." I rolled my eyes at Amanda." I little bird told me you came with Stefan."

"We weren't suppose to bring any dates but Jamie asked Bonnie so-" Amanda cuts me off.

"I cent believe you guys brought date's to a birthday party not just any birthday party my daughter's party who  is a year old. " Amanda started laughing." I cant believe you guys." Stefan walks up to us with Miranda in his arms.

"Miranda is tired." he hands Miranda to Amanda.

"Im gonna put her to sleep see you both in a bit." Amanda says to us then she walks away leaving Stefan and I together.

"Did I tell you how handsome you look." I loved when Stefan wore suits

" you look um-very beautiful. " he tells me while looking into my eyes." would you like to dance with me?" he aksed with a smile and extending his hand to me.

"I would love to dance with you." I placed my hand into his and we both walked to the dance floor.

" so,given our dangerous dance karma, sure you're up for this? I chuckled cause I knew what he meant whenever there was an event something bad always happened but not today cause its my nieces birthday plus the two people that we don't like are already here so what could possibly go wrong.

"Getting out of bed is dangerous these days, but we habe to live our lives." that was something Stefan once told me.

"Hmmmm. Who gave you that horrible advice? " he tells me with a smile.

"Some guy I used to date said it once or twice. " he began to laugh. As we danced I seen Amanda looking at us with a smile. I think she was happy that Stefan and I are talking and kind of made up. I smiled back at Amanda then I see her turn and I saw she was looking at Damon.

"Damons back." I said as I watched Amanda walk up to Damon. Stefan grabbed my hand and we walked over to them.

Stefan pov

I can't believe my beautiful niece is already a year old. I still some times couldn't believe Damon was a dad he is a good dad and Amanda is a good mom. Mirandas birthday was going good after Amanda put Miranda to bed I guess was the adults time to have fun cause Caroline had some guy start doing the DJ and everyone started dancing. It felt good to have Elena in my arms no matter what I was still in love with her im alway gonna love Elena no matter what we go through. I wanted to show Elena that I haven't geven up on us yet.

Damon came back to the party but he didn't have Ric with him which is not a good sign. I saw Damon and Amanda were having a private conversation so I stopped Elena from going up to them.

"Teach me some moves. " Elena tells me. She knew I dont like dancing

"Oh,no,no,no. you know me and dancing. " she shook her head I knew she was not gonna give up that easy.
