Will's car tumbled and slowly rolled into a stop on it's four wheels. Jay wasn't buckled up, so he had rolled of the backseat, onto the car floor.

Will shifted in his seat. "Jay... Jay... Are you okay?" Will groaned. He tried to get out of his seat but couldn't move. "I'm calling 911, okay? Jay, can you answer me?" Will pulled out his phone and called 911.

"911, what's your emergency?" The operator on the other of the end of the phone asked.

"Me and my brother, we got in a car accident, hurry! I'm a doctor, he's a cop." Will breathed out. He tried to remove himself from the car again and succeeded. He hung up the phone after giving them all of the info. He could barely speak or walk. Will reached out his hand and nudged Jay, waiting for him to open his eyes. Nothing happened. He nudged him again, but soon drifted into unconsciousness himself too.

Not long after getting to the hospital, Will woke up. "Where's my brother!?" He shouted at the doctor in his room. He didn't recognize her at first, but soon came to the realization that it was Natalie. "Natalie?"

"Hey, Will. Your brother is in the ICU. He, he um... I probably shouldn't tell you, but it's bad." Natalie stated, not giving him all the details.

Will groaned and then got out of the uncomfortable hospital bed.

"Where are you going?" Natalie asked, concerned.

"To see my brother." Will stated, ignoring Natalie's concerns.

"No, you can't. You aren't strong enough yet! Lay back down!" She ordered. So he did. He asked for some water, so, of course, she went to go get it for him. She left the room to go get some water. Will got out of his bed, again, and was determined to sneak away. And that, he did.

He snuck into the ICU, pretending to be a doctor, which he was. He stumbled into Jay's room and looked at his charts. Two broken ribs, a concussion, still to be determined how bad, and a sprained wrist.

"This is what Natalie calls bad?" He asked himself. This wasn't bad, at least not for being in a car accident that bad. He didn't even think to look at his charts as he snuck away though.

"Hey! Will!" Natalie started running toward him.

"I know. I know. I'm coming." He said, already heading back to his own room.

"You shouldn't be walking around, you have a..."

"I don't care about me. I care about him, Jay." He said, trying to escape Natalie's scolding.

"Yeah, but I care about you, so you need to go back to your room. You have a serious concussion. You need to stay awake for 24 hours and you have to stay in bed. We can't let you walk around because it could make you lightheaded and you could...."

"I know, Natalie! I'm a doctor too..." He shouted.

"Will, calm down. It's okay."

As hours past, no one knew they were in the hospital because Will told them not to call anyone, not yet. A couple more hours passed and Jay finally opened his eyes.

"Hello? Will? Erin?" He asked. Wincing at saying each word. He moved his right hand onto his ribs, as his other, lay there on the bed, sprained.

"Hey, Jay. I'm Dr. Choi, we have met once before." Dr. Choi stated.

"Yeah, I remember " He said.

"It's okay, just stay awake and read a magazine or something. You have to stay awake for the next 24 hours, don't fall asleep. I'll come in and check on you regularly. Ok?"

"Yeah. Sure. Can I watch some T.V.?" Jay asked, already reaching for the remote. He flipped through the channels, and soon stopped on the news channel.

"Dr. Will Halstead and Detective Jay Halstead are in the hospital currently, we don't know anymore there. But the drunk driver Hector Gonzalez died minutes after crashing. When the paramedics arrived he was already dead. The 911 call was actually placed by Will Halstead, driver of the other vehicle." Jay listened to the words and immediately pressed the nurse call button.

"Where's my brother? Take me to my brother! Is he okay?" He was now worried sick about Will.

"Calm down! It's okay..." Will said running into the room. He had snuck away again. "I'm here. I'm fine."

"Will.... What happened?" Jay asked. He had been unconscious even before the crash so he had no memory of the car ride.

"I was...I don't know. I was driving, I had a green light. As I was going across the intersection, just...out of nowhere, a car...it flipped us. Bro, I'm sorry." Will apologized and cried out

"Will, don't cry. I'm okay, we're okay. And look, I'm sorry we fought." Jay apologized.

"I'm not crying, there's something in my eyes."

"Both of them?" Jay asked, sarcastically.

"Mhmm." Will nodded his head, giving his brother the biggest bear hug ever.

"Have you called Erin?" Jay asked.

"No. I haven't contacted anyone yet." Will confessed. Will called Erin 3 times, no answer. So, he called Voight and explained everything; he also told him to call Erin and tell her to come to the hospital. So, he did.
