"In there, I knew I loved you. I thought I loved you as much as I could, before we broke up. When we did, I thought I didn't love you anymore after that, but truth is, I loved you more because you showed me qualities that you have, that I've never seen before. Erin, I thought that I loved you way back when, but I didn't, I was lying to myself. I love you now. I will always. And I'll love you no matter what. Through everything we've been through, it just makes me love you way more. And it'll keep making me love you." Jay took a deep breath and waited for a response.

"I... I don't know what to say. Actually, I do. I love you. And...and I'm happy that you feel the same way, so can we kiss now?" She asked, already pressing her lips to his.

"Yeah. We. can. kiss. forever." He said in between each kiss. They walked out hand in hand but released as they turned the corner and seen Voight. No one could know about them, no one.

"Ready?" Erin asked Voight.

"Yup. We've got to hurry though, its rush hour..." He stated, rushing everyone to their cars. They all headed back to the district and got back to work.

That night, Erin visited Jay at his apartment.

"So what are you thinking?" Erin asked.

"How beautiful you are, and how lucky I am to even have the chance to look at you, love you." Jay stated.

"I'm thinking that we should kiss..." Erin moved in close, almost pressing her lips to his before they heard a knock on the door.

"Hang on! I'm coming." Jay yelled, running to the door. He opened the door. "Hey....Zoe? What... What are you doing here?"

"I..." She looked into the apartment and saw Erin walking into the kitchen to get a drink. "Never mind." She ran out and got in her car and drove away.

The next morning they got a call. Homicide. When they went to ID the body, and check out the crime scene, Jay knew her right away. "It's Zoe..." Jay stated. He didn't realize that she was in trouble.

"She came to see me last night. She ran away. She didn't tell me what was wrong." Jay explained while being investigated by Ruzek.

"Do you have an alibi because you were the last person to see her alive..." Ruzek stated.

"Yeah, Erin, she was with me all night. We were talking. And laughing..." Jay started.

"Okay." Ruzek got up and left. He went to ask Erin about that, and she verified it.

The only problem, Zoe was dead, and Ruzek now knows about Jay and Erin. Jay said they were just talking, but Ruzek knew there was more, he knew they were in love. Ruzek was still in pain from him and Burgess breaking up, but he thought this was heartwarming because they found their love.

Next day:

"Do you believe in Soul Mates?" Jay asked.

"Yes and No." Erin responded.

"What do you mean?" Jay questioned.

"Yes because some people are with just one person forever, and they do fit together perfectly. No because I think that you shape your soul mate. I don't think it's how they were made, it think that you adjust your beliefs for that person you love and that's the person your meant to be with. So yes because some people are just born having one, but no because a lot of people shape their soul mates." Erin explained her beliefs. "Why do you ask?"

"Because... I think... No, I know that you are my soul mate. I love you so much, and honestly, truthfully, I'm sorry about the pain I put you through. About everything that I did to you, about hurting you, about overall just making you think I didn't love you anymore, but I do, I do still love you." Jay apologized for his behavior, when they broke up before. He pulled her into his chest and squeezed her tightly. He looked into her pretty eyes, and then kissed her, again and again.

"Jay, you don't have to apologize, I hurt you too." Erin stated.

"No, Erin, never, ever say you're sorry. You don't ever have to be." Jay informed.

"Same for your, then..." Erin responded, kissing him. Jay''s brows furrowed. He was questioned by something... He was questioned on how he n ever had to say he's sorry, because he always screw up, and so he always need to apologize.

"I'm off to bed. Night?" Erin stood up and headed for the bedroom. Jay followed behind her. He stripped to his underwear and laid in bed. Erin got into her pajamas and did the same. They kissed and made out. They had the temptation to have sex but Jay stopped them.

"I don't think we should have sex. I think that's what ruined our relationship. US rushing into things. I think we need to take things..." Jay started.

"Slow. I agree. Can we still make out?" Erin asked.

"Oh, definitely!" Jay answered, kissing her once again.
