Erin chased after Jay, but didn't stop him. He got in his car and drove away. She stood outside and looked at his car fly down the road. Once again, breaking his heart.
Slowly, just gathered her feelings and bottled them up. She walked inside and looked at Mason.
"Mason, I think it's time we tell him." She murmured.
"Okay." Mason agreed.
They got into Erin's car and drove around, just looking for Jason. Finally, they found him at Will's playing with Shay. They knocked on the door and waited for someone to answer.
Will came over and opened the door. "Hey, come in. Who's this?" He smiled.
"I'm Mason." Mason replied.
"Jay, let me explain." She walked into the living room where Jay sat with their son.
"Explain what? How you tell me I can't date because we're still married when you're dating... him." Jay mocked.
"That's not how it is... he's my... my half-brother." She confessed. "My father walked out on him too, he's 2 years younger than me."
"Oh..." Jay found his mistake. "I'm sorry," he stood up. "Nice to meet you." He held out his hand a greeted his new half-brother-in-law.
"Hey, I'm Mason. If you didn't already know that." He laughed. "I started to talk to Erin like a week ago, which was when I found out she was my half-sister. I'm sorry if you thought that, that we were together." He apologized.
"It's okay." Jay looked at Erin, and she knew he wanted to speak privately so they went outside. Mason played with Shay.
"Erin, I'm so sorry, I just didn't think. Can you forgive me?" Jay pleaded.
"I do. I forgive you. When we got married, I told you 'When you were paralyzed, it was rough, not just on you, but on me, too. I want you to know, that was just a tiny little rock compared to the big mountain we've faced. And we're still climbing, but like you said, we'll do it together, to the end,' I also told you, 'Now and forever shall our everlasting love shine a light through the dark tunnel that leads US to happiness. I love you.' And, I do love you. And this, this is another tiny rock. Jay, I forgive you. I always will, don't you doubt that. It's just..." She stopped.
"Just? Just what?" He pulled her in close.
Erin smiled, then her face went back to seriousness. "You blamed something that wasn't my fault, on me. I'm sorry too though." She kissed him.
"You don't have to be, that kiss apologized for you." He kissed her back. Jay yelled inside to let Will know they were leaving. They rushed home, Jay driving. When they got inside they started ripping each others clothes off, throwing them across the room. Jay pushed Erin up against the wall. Erin wrapped her legs around him, and he carried her up the stairs to their bedroom.
When they woke up the next morning, Jay texted Will to apologize for leaving so fast.
J: Sorry for leaving, me and Erin kind of...
W: Oh... well it's fine. Nat is watching him now, he's seemed to become great friends with Owen. Anyways, I gotta go, ttyl?
J: Yeah, bye.
Jay put his phone on the nightstand and watched Erin sleep so softly.
"Hey." She looked at him.
"Hey, Erin." He kissed her on the forehead. "I was thinking about something, and I don't want you to be mad, but this isn't right. We shouldn't have..."
"Slept together. I know." Erin finished for him. She waited for him to leave to go pick up Shay before bursting into tears. How could that have happened, again? She asked herself.
She thought about how he said it wasn't right, how they shouldn't have but a knock pulled her out of her own mind. She opened the door to see Shay sleeping in Jay's arms.
