"Erin, I don't want to do this right now!" Jay shouted.

"Jay, he's your brother, you should be happy for him." Erin argued. "He's getting married, not moving halfway across the world."

"It's not the fact that he's engaged, it's the fact that... just leave me alone, we shouldn't do this right now." He fought.

"No. Tell me, what is it? What's the problem." She walked closer to him.

"It's the fact that we aren't. They've been together 9 or so months. We've been together, what, like almost 2? Why can't we." He yelled.

Erin teared up and cried. She couldn't stand looking at him. It was a good thing Voight wanted to watch Shay because it's not good to fight in front of a baby.

"This is why I didn't want to tell you, I knew you'd cry..." He said.

"You don't know me, Jay." She cried out.

"Then how do I know that you'd give anything to save your friends or family. Or that, if were up to you, you'd go to work even earlier, just to help everyone you could, and then some. And how do I know that you hate watching movies, especially chick flicks, but you would watch them with a friend or family member." He grabbed her arm.

"You don't know me... Everyone knows that, everyone. You don't know the real me, no one does." She pulled away. He grabbed her again and tried to apologize.

"I'm done... I can't do this anymore, I can't be in a relationship with you. I'm... This is destroying me, it's over."

"No, Erin, wait!" He tried to stop her from leaving, but still, she got in her car and left.

Erin drove to Voight's and walked inside like she lived there. She wasn't crying, but she was still dying inside.

"Erin, hey. Are you here to take Shay?" Voight asked.

Erin shook her head and hugged him tightly. She cried into his shoulder and he wrapped his arms around her.

"Was it Jay?" He asked.

She nodded and looked into his eyes. "It's over."

Voight seemed rather disappointed even though this was what he wanted from the get go. "What do you need?"

"A hug..." She hugged him even tighter and finally stopped crying. No matter what, Voight would always be there for her, just like Jay ONCE WAS.

Jay called her up a dozen times and each time left a voice mail. "Erin, it's me again. I know you have my number and I'm sorry. I need you, baby. This can't be over, you are my true love, and my soul mate. Please call me back. I'll see you at work on Monday, I love you." That was his last voice mail message before he decided she meant what she said.

It was over, it was truly over, and there was nothing, in Erin's and Jay's mind that could bring them back together.

Jay got in his car and dialed Will's number. "Hey. I'm happy for you," he cried. "I won't make it to the wedding though."

"It's in a year, how do you know what you are doing in a year?" Will asked.

"I don't, all I know is I'm dead already." He sobbed.

"JAY!?" He screamed into his phone. Jay had ended that call.

Jay drove and drove for hours while everyone, but Voight and Erin, looked for him. He knew that he had to be a father for Shay, but how could he if Erin didn't want him to be. He drove 100 miles in excess and didn't stop. He ran red lights and didn't care about a thing. What was expected, happened. His car flipped over. It tumbled over 6 or 7 times before it landed upside down. Then an oncoming semi truck wasn't able to stop and ran straight into the driver's side of the car, hitting at a 90 degree angle. Jay would most likely die, and Erin had no clue that her son was going to be fatherless for the rest of his life...
