"Hello. Yes. This is she. Oh my god. Yeah, I'm coming." She sped to the hospital, four and a half months pregnant.

"Cole? Are you okay?" She said walking into his room.

"Yeah. I'm fine. I'm great actually. I saved seven lives..." He smiled.

"You almost lost yours." Erin cried.

"Don't cry. God didn't want me to die. He wanted me to save those lives. He wants me to be here with you. He wants me to be with you. Come here, kiss me." Cole sat up and kissed his girlfriend.

"Cole, you're perfect." She smiled, kissed him again, then backed away. "I've gotta go let your firehouse in so they can see the man of the hour, but feel better. I'll be at work. I'll see you tonight?" Erin smiled.

"Yes ma'am." Cole smiled back.

"He wants to see you all. You can all go say hi." Erin smiled, tears running out of her eyes.

"Erin, you okay?" Gabby stayed back to comfort her. "He's okay."

"I'm fine. Go see the man of the hour." Erin lied.

She went to the precinct and sat down at her desk. She looked at the picture of her, Shay, her pregnant belly, and Cole. Her focus shifted to the picture of her, Al, Atwater, Jay, Hank, Mouse, and Ruzek together, then back to the picture of Cole, Shay, and her. She looked at her computer, 20 new emails. Back to work. She told herself. Erin worked for a while before having to pee her bladder out. After that, she had to pee 7 more times in the span of 4 hours.

Finally, she went home to find Cole making supper. "Hey, babe. Long day?" He asked.

"Yes, glad you're home though." Erin smiled.

"Me too."

"Can I talk to you about something?"

"Erin, you can always talk to me."

"Cole. When I got that call, I thought it was The Call, you know, the one where they say you're dead." Erin cried.

"That's not happening, I'm not leaving you. I'm always here for you. I mean that when I say it." Cole soothed.

"I know, but it terrified me, that split second that I thought you were dead, my heart broke. It made me realize that I can't lose you." Erin kissed him.

"I can't lose you either." He kissed her back.

Soon enough, Erin was sitting on the counter, making out with Cole, who was standing. Erin's legs wrapped around his waist. "Ow. Damnit." Erin cursed. She looked at the burn on her hand. "And that is why you don't make out next to a stove." Erin laughed. I better get this cleaned up." Erin hopped off.

"I'll finish supper, than we can eat and go to bed. That sound good?" Cole asked.

"Sleep always sounds good to me."

"Me too." Cole chuckled.

They ate supper and headed up to bed.
