"Well," Erin chuckled. "Funny you might ask."

"You are!" Jay exclaimed.

"No. I'm not. But I thought I was. I did. I was late. It was a bit ago, like a week and a half ago. I'm not though." Erin frowned.

"But you wish you were." Jay assumed.

"Well, it did make me think about having another one." Erin admitted.

"Absolutely not. Erin, we can't. We already have three kids. This isn't... we... what if one of us died? Then what would happen? What if both of us died? We couldn't have three kids lose both their parents. Let alone four kids!" Jay argued.

"It's okay. I don't care anymore. Good night." Erin shot.

"Why didn't you tell me? I could've been there for you!" Natalie questioned.

"I... was... scared. I don't know. Scared, upset, confused. I don't know, honestly." Erin explained.

"But now you want kids, well, more, and he doesn't?" Natalie asked.

"Yeah. But it's okay. It's not like a planned for it to happen that way anyways and he is right. It would be too much of hassle and... yeah." Erin convinced herself.

"It seems like you're trying to convince you more than me." Natalie stated.

"I guess. I don't know anymore. I don't know if our relationship is gonna go anywhere but down. I mean, I know it seems good, but things have changed lately. He's changed." Erin noted.

"What do you mean?" Natalie insisted.

"He's less focused, more I don't know, angry?"

"Has he hit you or something?" Natalie feared.

"No, but he isn't like he used to be. He doesn't.. it's like he doesn't care anymore." Erin confessed.

"What makes you think that?" Natalie asked.

"It used to be me. I was the one that didn't want children. He was the one that wanted a lot of kids, like seven or eight, not he only wants three, to be honest, all he wanted was two. He said if I was pregnant, he wouldn't be angry, he'd be happy, but... I don't think so anymore." Erin quavered.

"Have you talked to him about this?"

"No."

"That's the first thing you need to do, go talk to him." Natalie ordered.

"Jay," Erin called out when she got home. "We need to talk."

"Okay, yeah. Let's talk." Jay responded.
