Harry's POV

I woke up Monday morning to an empty bed. It was my first official day of my break and I had wished I had woken up early to see Katarina off. I had begged her to take the week off, but she insisted that two weeks off was enough of a vacation. We had our last show yesterday, we had done a pre recording for our New Year's event about a month ago and finished off with our last performance on the X Factor. I begged her to come with me and we would leave the after party early, but she insisted that she didn't feel well and wanted to stay in.

I was a little frustrated that she didn't even wake me to say goodbye, but then I noticed a note resting against the vase of lotus flowers I got Katarina yesterday. I had called many shops until I found one that sold them. I knew daliah's were her favorite, but since I had given her a lotus last week while at her grandparent's last Sunday, I decided to make it a tradition. Well, the idea didn't come to me until later while I was making her waffles. She was a little peeved with the fact that she hadn't had any in two weeks, thus ruining her routine.

I grabbed the note from the nightstand, rubbing my eyes from sleep before I read it.

Good morning baby, I hope you slept well.

I know you're probably upset I didn't wake you,

but you looked cute and tired. I had to leave early

to get Olivia settled. Please don't forget our meeting

at the bank. Text me when you wake up.

I love you,

K. :)

I smiled, reading the note over and over, enjoying the neat cursive and the small card. I swear everything about her makes me love her more. I hated myself for treating her badly yet again. And over something so stupid, I spent the rest of our weekend trying to make it up to her. I didn't understand myself sometimes. I claimed to love this girl, yet I did everything wrong and made her feel bad. All I wanted to do was take care of her. The only problem with that was that she could take care of herself.

I let out a loud sigh, annoyed with myself, before getting ready quickly and grabbing some coffee. It was the first day I had to actually do nothing and I was already going out of my mind. I text Katarina, sending her a good morning, I love you and miss you before shoving my phone in my pocket and heading around the flat to find something to do.

I settled for watching TV, there was a show that Katarina had insisted I watch and catch up on so we could eventually start watching together. She wasn't lying about it being a great show, I was into the fourth episode when I finally decided to grab a bite to eat. Watching the show gave me an idea. The main character had their own library and it was nicely set up, but he didn't use it, he sort of gifted it to the female protagonist, who he was madly in love with, though he wouldn't admit it. That bastard, getting everyone's hopes up for nothing.

I discarded the rest of my food and headed into what used to be an office. I didn't know exactly how I was going to do it, but I was going to turn this place into a damn library for Katarina. Grabbing my laptop, I began to do some research on home libraries to get some idea on where to start.
