Harry's POV
Our happy little vacation had finally come to an end. After two weeks of doing nothing but basically spoiling, Katarina, I really wasn't ready to go home. Well, I was, because it was easier to take care of her in the comforts of our own home, but I was going to miss being, almost, completely alone, with no distractions around us.
Of course I didn't want to bring Landon or Pete, but now that Katarina was pregnant, I was not going to take any chances. I wanted her to be safe twenty four seven, no matter how unrealistic that sounded, I needed it for my own sanity. I never thought I would be one of those guys who had security around him all the damn time, but, here I am, with two. Granted, one was for Katarina, but wherever she went, I went, so I basically had two security guards. The only comforting thing about that was the fact that, that meant she also had two.
Before we headed home, I insisted we stop at the market. Our baby was between the size of a raspberry and a green olive and I wanted to fill our fridge with both. Katarina mocked me, calling me a cannibal, if I was using fruit to measure our baby then eat it, but I didn't care. I wouldn't be able to hold my baby for another seven months, so I was going to take what I could get. She was also annoyed that I had started taking side pictures of her and her belly, every Friday since she told me. She would thank me one day, when we're old and grey, but it'll happen.
We were in the middle of a heated debate about my getting her flowers and making her waffles every Sunday as we made our way up to our flat when two lanky figures caught my eye. Cara and Kendall. Fuck. I had to get rid of them, fast. Katarina was busy looking up some facts about god knows what to prove her point, so she didn't see them, which was good. Now, all I had to do was pull off some magic trick and make them disappear or have Katarina, not, look up from her phone until we were in our bedroom.
"Harry," Cara called out from where she stood in front of our door causing Katarina to look up in total surprise and shock. Great, so much for my genius plan.
"Ave?" Cara questioned, her brows knitting together, making sure she was seeing what she thought she was seeing.
"Car?" Katarina questioned back. "Cara," she yelled, dropping her luggage and purse, Cara doing the same as they both ran into each other.
Cara easily picked up Katarina, who wasted no time wrapping her legs around her torso, both of them almost throwing Kendall into the wall behind her. That's who I was the most uneasy with. She shouldn't be here, especially with, Katarina here, and Cara knew she shouldn't have brought her. My stomach began to churn as I watched the three of them interact. The two girls wrapped up in each other exchanged expressions of happiness, both of them clearly happy to see each other. Once Katarina was on her own two feet, she greeted Kendall in a completely different manner. They both smiled politely at each other, acknowledging each other's presence with a tiny smile, which I noticed, wasn't genuine from Kendall.
"We didn't know you were going to have company," Kendal softly smiled, clearly annoyed by the other two girls interaction. "We should have called."
"That's what I said, but you wanted to surprise him," Cara interjected, looking over at all our luggage. "And, I don't think Ave is company," Her eyes scanned the both of us before they nearly bulged out. "Oh my god, you live here," she shouted at Katarina who turned red as a tomato.
"How do you guys even know each other?" I asked as I let them in, carrying most of our things in myself. "And why do you keep calling her Ave?" I found myself annoyed by the nickname and familiarity.
