(Since Real Madrid is not playing I am not mentioning any rival they are going against in this chapter.)
James waited for Vanessa to arrive at the stadium with Sergio's wife Pilar. He had a box in his hands.
Vanessa walked in a hallway while Pilar waited at the other side. She noticed James at the end of the hallway. His back was turned to her so she decided to walk up to him and surprise him.
She covered his eyes saying, "Guess who?"
James smiled recognizing the beautiful voice speaking.
"Hi beautiful." He kissed her quickly.
Vanessa noticed as she pulled away the box.
"What's with the box?"
"Um, it's for you."
She took it and took off the lid. Inside was a jersey with James's names on the back.
"You'll wear it for me right?" James asked nervously.
"I would never say no." She put it on over her plain white shirt and placed her hair into a ponytail.
"So that everyone knows who's my one and only." She smiled. He kissed her one last time before leaving to the locker rooms.
"Vanessa are you ready?" Pilar called from the other side of the hallway.
Vanessa sighed happily and started towards her.
It was game day for Real Madrid and the stadium was packed with fans with thirty minutes remaining before the start of the game.
Vanessa walked over to a reserved part of the stadium along with Pilar.
"I hope they play well today." Vanessa said excitedly. Pilar looked at her with a smile.
"Of course they are, they're Real Madrid."
Vanessa nodded. Of course they'll win, they have the best players.
Especially my little James.
During first half Cristiano scored but then the rival team scored near the end.
Second half nothing much was happening until Javier scored. He ran around, cheering and locked eyes with Vanessa. She smiled and mouthed "Good job."
A few minutes afterwards James was able to score and he pointed to Vanessa as he celebrated. Vanessa made a heart with her hands and then screamed happily, "GOAL!!"
The game ended 3-1 and Pilar and Vanessa left to find the team members.
Pilar found Sergio and said goodbye. Vanessa still searched for James. He finally walked out of the locker room with all of his gear. He smiled at the sight of her.
"Congrats for your goal, handsome." Vanessa said wrapping her arms around his neck. James dropped his gear to pull her closer.
"I had you on my mind so it wasn't easy to score."
"Oh so it's my fault?" She smirked. He smiled, shaking his head.
"No. I scored and dedicated it to you. Because I play for you, I try my hardest for you. All because I love you." He said shyly.
Vanessa hugged him tightly. After hearing everything he said, she made a promise to never leave him.
"I'll always be here to support you so that you'll never face anything alone."
They kissed and Cristiano walked out of his hiding place.
"Bravo!" he clapped loudly.
"Cris go away, you're ruining my moment." James looked at him with a look.
"But it's adorable James. Like a soap opera. Almost made me cry." Cristiano faked a tear.
"Cristiano please can you leave?" Vanessa said, trying to keep calm.
"Fine. Just because the lady asked nicer." He left making the sign that said "I'm watching you."
"We should leave." James picked up his bag and followed Vanessa out of the stadium.

They arrived at Vanessa's house a while later.
"You can go in a take a shower if you have clothes." Vanessa offered nervously.
"Okay then I'll be right back." He quickly left towards the bathroom, leaving Vanessa alone.
She went into the kitchen and grabbed some strawberries, rinsed them off and started cutting them into halves.
What could I put on these besides honey?
She grabbed honey and peered inside the fridge. She noticed whipped cream and chocolate syrup.
Why not ditch the syrup? She grabbed the whipped cream and poured it all over the strawberries. Then the chocolate syrup drizzled on top of the cream. Finally she sprinkled marshmallows.
I'm going to regret this later but it looks good. And I'm hungry
She took a fork and took out a strawberry.
"What are you eating?" James asked. Vanessa had not noticed when he had walked in.
"Uh strawberries."
James frowned looking at the bowl.
"But it's whipped cream all over."
"Okay I was craving strawberries and I would usually pour honey all over but instead I found the whipped cream and so that's what I poured on it instead."
"Okay. But you know this is not healthy for you." He took a strawberry and took a bite before wincing.
"It's too sweet."
"Aw come on eat one more." Vanessa urged. He shook his head, smiling.
"Do you have chips instead?"
"In the cupboard over there."
He opened the cupboard and found Doritos.
"How about we watch a movie?" He asked.
"Netflix and chill, how about no?" She joked. He laughed shaking his head.
"No just a movie."
"Okay." She took her plate into the living room as he picked out movies to watch.
After the first movie Vanessa tried stealing James's chip bag.
"You've ate too much."
James shook his head in disapproval.
"No I haven't."
"The bag is almost empty and you just opened it."
James peered into the bag to see how much he had eaten.
"Oops. Sorry not sorry."
"You owe me chips."
"Okay." James grabbed another chip and bit into it.
"James, I thought you were healthy." Vanessa laughed. He gave a small smile.
"No when I'm alone, I eat everything. I love food right after soccer. Do you have cake?"
"James!"
"What? Is it a bad time to ask?"
"Give me the bag and I'll give you cookies."
"Ooh cookies!" he clapped like a little child at the thought of cookies.
"Kidding I have no cookies. Give me the bag." Vanessa reached for it but James kept it out of her reach.
He laid on the couch and Vanessa climbed on top of him, reaching for the bag.
"This is why I love you." James suddenly said.
"Why?" Vanessa stopped reaching.
"We can act like little kids and not be serious all the time."
"I used to think those were goals. And now I am living them." She smiled.
