Me:"Lily! Lilllyyy! Please come here. I need your help!"

Lily:" Cominng!"

I here her footsteps as she is coming to help me out.

Lily:"Yes your highness! Here I am"

She just never fails to turn a dull day into a bright one!

Me: " Can you just zip me up? Please."

I turn around and she zips me up.

I face her and smile showcasing my pink shimmery halterneck dress that goes down just above my knees. I see Lily in a similar golden shimmery dress like me. We both were looking like those twins who always like to flaunt a similar kind off apparel.

Today was our first dance rehearsal and our entire crew was here. The backstage was buzzing with girls going in and out of the changing rooms. A bunch of make up artists who were trying their level best to enhance their talent in making us beautiful. Our assistant choreographers are coordinating with the head of the lights and sound department. They are raking their heads out as to where to focus the lights, which beats are important. And how to fill colors to our performance.

I saw my team wearing similar shades of halterneck dresses. We were looking vibrant in shades of blue, yellow, golden, pink and red.

We all headed towards Lisa, who was our make up artist. She attended us one by one. With her skilled hands she managed do my make up in just 10 mins and with utmost accuracy! She fixed our hair in a bun, which was easy to handle during our performance.

We looked at our dolled up faces and as Rose couldn't resist she took out her cellphone and as usual we were ready to pose.

After posing and pouting showing off the red lipstick, we were called up on the stage. Our choreographer was giving us a set of instructions.

She was like a reservoir of energy. Even in this preparatory stage she was full of enthusiasm. The light and sound department Head was never leaving her and constantly he was bombarding her with his questions! Still she was answering him with calmness, ease and sincerity.

In a while she orders us to take our positions and we follow her and stand at the correct places. In a few seconds the spot light falls on us and I feel like a halo surrounding me! With that sudden flash of the spotlight  I feel a sudden pang of anxiety in my stomach.

*I hope this goes fine!*

I feel a bit of jitters going down my spine as the music starts to play. Our legs move to the tune of the beats. At first I dance with heavy footsteps. But soon I'm taken into the atmosphere of vibrant lights, amazing music which helps me to loosen myself and soon I'm engrossed to the music and the feeling of anxiety soon washes away.

I take a spin towards the center spot of the stage and I notice our choreographer looking at us with eagerness filled in her eyes. I surely didn't want let her down. So I gave my best. And I'm sure my team did the same.

The music stops within a few minutes and we take a bow. The backstage crew members and the choreographers applaud and it feels a lot better.

Choreographer: "It went really well guys! Just a few finishing touches needs to be given! But all and all a very good performance!"

It felt so good to hear that. It was a true motivation for us. She gave us a thumbs up as we were about to exit the stage.

We went to the changing rooms and quickly got dressed in the usual set of clothes. I went up to the mirror, pulled a chair in front of me and started to remove the make up off. I checked my cell phone and it was quiet late, almost 10 pm. I quickly had undone the make up and fixed my hair in a pony tail and went outside to leave. I met the girls outside near the parking lot and we left together.

For the whole day I had managed to keep Ryan away. Even away from my thoughts! But the night began from him as his messages started pouring in.

Ryan: " Hey! How you doin?"

*To reply or not to reply?!*

I spent the next few minutes walking and thinking over this in my room.

*Its okay to reply. I guess. Its just a normal chat.*

With that, I quickly take my cell phone and start to type in a reply.

Me: " Hey. Just came back from the rehearsal. What about you?"

Ryan:" Nothing. Just sitting in my patio with a company few amazing songs."

Me: " Cool! Sounds great! Which kind of songs do you generally listen to?"

Ryan: " Well depends on my mood. But generally romantic songs keep me hooked!"

*My hopeless romantic guy!*

*Oh no! Just a hopeless romantic guy! Better, sounds better!*

Me: " Oh yes! That was predictable actually!"

Ryan: " How? "

Me: " I mean you seem to be a romantic guy. "

Ryan: " Well, I am"

*I already know! Sigh.*

Me: " Yeah."

Ryan: " So found your man eye candy? Any crushes or something?"

*Wow! My man eye candy himself is asking this! Amazing!*

Me: " Haha! Who has time for all this!"

Ryan: " Oh common! Thats rubbish! I know thats not true!"
