Hola my readers! Ok so as you know, this story is connected to Sun Child by Aquaerin. Now, we have included Star Child by IamEpic34. It is the same guideline and charectars, but in Rhea's POV. It also takes different stages to get to the ending than Moon Child; just like Sun Child. All three are different and I strongly reccomend checking out ALLLLLL of them.

You've got to be kidding me. I kept staring at that name.

That was when I noticed another name under her's.

Rhea Sanford

"Look Natalia! It looks like we're roommates! You, me, and this Rhea girl. Isn't this great?" Ashton giggled with delight.

"Splendid," I muttered. Only I could tell that I was being sarcastic.

"Passengers, please fasten your seat belts, we are beginning our descend into Hawaii. Thank you."

I mentally sighed.

This is it Natalia, go get your fresh start.

+++++++++++++++++++++++

One horrible descend, an annoying Ashton- filled car ride to the docks, and a sickening boat ride later, I stood in front of probably the biggest building I had ever seen. Even happy- Blondie over here had her jaw open in awe.

As we stood there like idiots, a lady in her late forty's- early fifty's walked up to us with a huge smile plastered on her face.

"Hello girls, you must be Ashton and Natalia. I'm Madame Lawrence, the head Mistress of this fine school." She spoke with a slight accent, British maybe. Her long red hair was perfectly tied in a half ponytail. Her hazel colors in her eyes seemed to be moving around, changing color. Before I could take a really good look, she had moved on to the next group of students.

Ashton and I made our way to our room. We had already left all our suitcases with the men with the luggage carts. I felt as if I was staying at a hotel.

The last time I went to a hotel was the summer before my parents died. They took me to the Bahamas so I could swim with dolphins. I silently touched my locket that Gran had given me for my 12th birthday. It had a picture of my mom and dad on one side and a picture of me and Gran on the other. She told me that the picture of them was the family in my soul and the picture of us was the family in my heart. Just thinking about it brought silent tears to my eyes.

"Natalia, are you OK?" Ashton asked when she realized I hadn't been paying attention to her constant blabbering.

"Ya, I'm fine. Just thinking about how I'm going to be a complete loser where ever I go. It doesn't make a difference if I'm here or back in California," I sighed. I'm not sure why I just told her that. There was something weird about this girl.

We stopped in front of the door to our room. Ashton took me by the shoulders and looked me straight in the eye, "Natalia. It does make a difference. You have a friend now. Me. And I promise that I will always be there for you. I swear." The look in those emerald green eyes told me she was dead serious. I had a real friend. I don't know why, but I gave Ashton a hug.

"Thank you Ashton. I promise to be there for you too."

And I meant it.

We opened the door to our new home. Inside, there were three beds, a fridge, a kitchen sink and a little counter space. We could see three doors to three very big walk- in closets. There was also a door off of the main room that led to a bathroom with a shower, separate bathtub, and three sinks.

To our surprise, our bags were there. But we had about three too many. That was when we noticed a figure sitting on the bed closest to us. Ashton jumped back shocked but it just stared at her. She had medium brown hair, pale skin (but not quite as pale as mine), her eyes were a beautiful silver that made her face light up, she looked about 5'4, and she was very muscular.

She looked at us and smiled,"Hi, I'm Rhea Sanford. Nice to meet you." She held our a hand to us.

Ashton recovered quickly from her shock and shook her hand, "Hello! I'm Ashton and this is Natalia."

I shook her hand as well and gave her a small 'nice to meet you'.

"I don't really know anyone... Could I chill with you two?" She asked hopefully.

I looked at Ashton and silently begged her to say no... I didn't need more friends. One was already too many for one day.

Ashton responded with a look that said ,"be nice, give her a chance."

I sighed, defeated. I have known Ashton for only eight hours and I already knew there was no point in arguing with her.

She smiled sweetly at Rhea and said, "Sure! Lets un-pack and we can learn some more about each other."

And we did just that.

I learned that Ashton loves painting, guitar, swimming and singing. Her four- year-old brother died of a brain tumor when she was thirteen. She lives with her happy parents, and she wants to own her own clothing store. By all the stuff she said about her old friends, boyfriends and enemies, she was really popular as I had expected.

Rhea told us that she is very athletic, has a lot of friends as well, hates attention and the fact that she is muscular, and doesn't like competitive sports. She explained to us that her father had killed himself in front of her and her mother. After wiping a few tears away at the memory, she continued telling us of how her mother abandoned her and placed her in foster care. She was never one with the boys and she had changed schools often. When this letter came, she packed up her few things and she and Borongo got on the plane as quick as possible.

Borongo was her stuffed bear that she said was her only true best friend.

At the end of her story, Ashton and I were both tearing up. Rhea put her head in her hands and quietly sobbed. She had been through so much. I guess we were more alike than I thought.

At that moment, I made an exception to my no-trusting pact that I had made when I was 11.

Completely in sync, Ashton and I got on either side of Rhea and comforted her. I wasn't one to interact with people like this. These girls were changing me. I don't know why but I felt like I should trust them.

We sat there until it was five o' clock. I got myself together and I pulled up a chair so that I could sit directly in front of them. They looked up at me at the same time with curiosity in their green and silver eyes.

"I don't really trust people well. I live with my grandmother because my parents were killed in front of me," I explained every detail about that night to them as they listened with open ears. After wiping the stray tears away after telling them, I continued, "I was a loser at my old school. Anyone who came near me I would push away. I don't talk to boys. In my tons of spare time I sculpt, play piano, and write poetry. But my passion is dance. I dream of owning my own dance studio. My parents used to come to every one of my recitals. I have never had a friend since I was eleven before today. Now I have you Ashton," I smiled at her and she give me a small smile in return with tears in her eyes,"And Rhea?"

Her red, puffy, and tear-filled eyes locked with mine, "Ya?"

"I hope that I can ad you to my small list of friends."

She smiled and both of them pulled me into a big hug.

I smiled and hugged my two new friends back.
